in your shoes and if you *really* want a star, i'd really do. even if this demand should be somehow answered, i doubt price will return under 35M so easily...

Hah. So I held out for a little bit on the stocking stuffers and sold for 33K in WTB instead of selling earlier for 25K. It's now up to 50K in WTB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Meanwhile Iridium Sprinkler went from 20K to no demand at all. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

I held out longer for selling the Dinosaur Egg when it was going for 101K, went up to 115K, still held out, and then BAM!!! WTB bid shot up to 350K!!! So sent in the dino egg, maybe it'll go up to 500K who knows, but at least I won't get burned if it crashes like the Iridium Sprinkler did.

As i know StonyCat is a regular buyer of High Tier Trophies, so i'd say no crashing there.

Yep... the difference is that consumable stuff (often including credits) gets consumed, and the player still wants more in a couple weeks. On the other hand, permanent investments like top-tier equipment and perks are a one-time thing, so once bought, that player's demand goes away (hence the gradually falling value of hath and high-tier gears).

So when the super rich people are done going Super Saiyan Catgirl Camarilla sometime in 2200 AD then the price of stars may finally drop, but the path to becoming super rich (high tier gears) is slowly disappearing?

I was expecting it to go up after Kino started buying stars. It's a bit of a shame for players who want to grind their way into a Gold Star, it will become much harder over time if the prices continue getting higher. I suppose the motivation for buying stars above a single GS is mainly to support the site with the accumulated credits (and perhaps EXP bonus for some players). As long as there are buyers and sellers, I guess it doesn't matter for the site who turns their credits into donations and who pay for them. Personally I think it's still a bit of a shame if GS becomes very hard to obtain only by playing HV, not that it was really intended to be obtainable that way.
