QUOTE(jacquelope @ Nov 24 2016, 01:22) So just to give an idea of what's going on here, with Spirit stance up, it's taking 22no, 35 hits to kill a SG. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Just flee, not worth it, and costs you nothing. (on the other hand, fighting through those SGs means an average reward of something on the order of 95c plus a bit per 35 turns = 2.7 credits per turn, plus a bit. definitely not something worth continuing)

Someone remember this one? (IMG:[ www.old-games.com] http://www.old-games.com/screenshot/2227-10-grand-theft-auto.jpg) Its quite funny indeed how not all even use usb-hdd now with online storage, left alone cd/dvd, moreover fdd. Even tv now has access to web, so forgot about players at all. And before that was cassettes. We kinda already old? Most of teens now probably dont even know whats that.

I loved that game though I never did the jobs tha guys said, I just took their car. I liked how it had the groups of Elvis' and hari krishnas running around and you got the big message 'GOURANGA' if you ran over a krishna group at once.

QUOTE(Basara Nekki @ Nov 24 2016, 21:04) I had games on cassette tape. The worst part was waiting for the game to load (up to 5 minutes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) , depending on game size), and a crash occurred at the end. Then I had to rewind the tape and start all over again. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Still, the eagerness to play, the happiness and the enjoyment back then was soooo good, you couldn't even compare it to these days' games, right? For sure! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Especially when you are a child at that time (today's children are very impatient; for example, my 8-year-old nephew, that complains when the notebook takes time to start). And I can extend this subject also to the "area of anime". Today it is very easy to watch any title via legal streaming (besides those illegal, of course). And even with all these facilities there are still many people who are not satisfied, either because they lack a particular title, or not available (legally) in the region where he lives. 20 years ago any anime fan was content with a simple copy of a VHS passed to the other. And finding something new was like a "work of archeology" or "gold mining". It took time to search. Oh, and there was no subtitle. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) But everyone was happy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

isn't playing before HV still discussion revolving around HV? just like, how to kill time prior to HV or even if you aren't playing HV, and something like that. you know, speaking about HV implies even to speak about apparently non-HV-related things (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
