QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Oct 13 2016, 11:24)
It's actually strange that the value is still at 5.8k (I suppose many rich players have a lot of haths they are not even using or planning to use).
I would expect that too, lower prices. Every few months there are new players that reach the point where they don't need hath anymore, because they have all perks that they want, wouldn't you think? Or would that be compensated by H@H-runners that retire from HV?

gold stars generate hath too. and gold stars are increasing, while the number of affordable/useful perks is fixed - rather, the number of people who need to purchase them is decreasing as well. i guess it's only natural that hath price lowers at this point

It's mostly because the Hath supply was intentionally inflated over the last couple of years to balance out the different ways it was rewarded, to prevent some ways of gaming the system. The alternative was nerfing some of the more gameable gains, but deflating money supply is rarely a good idea and would be far more controversial.

i a quite a goat when it comes to economy, so be patient. am i safe to assume that at a certain point you had the choice to either reduce the number of hath generated so we would have had less hath but more valuable or to increase the number of hath generated (like you did) which brought to more hath but a bit less valuable? and that basically whatever choice you picked, it wouldn't have had that big of an impact on the global richness of each player but only on the balance of rewards and such things? sorry in advance if it brings unneeded confusion (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

we need more ways to burn our hath! (i guess, i sucks at economic
... how about some sort of non-permanent hath perk that just works for a period. like a week/a month?

this is not sucking at economics, this is mere masochism (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) to burn hath there are hath perks, to make your life harder there are G mobs and IWs. why should you need such a thing? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

An idea to sink that extra HatH is easy, and probably thought up before. A Hath loan system built into the perk section. Debt completes the economy system. Edit: It would probably throw the concern in the opposite direction... a shortage of Hath. Personally, I have nooooooo DIS AH PWIN! I'd stay in debt with XX% of my Hath automatically sunk daily. Now the coding to do that would probably "not" be easy, and explains why it doesn't exist. This post has been edited by redphil: Oct 13 2016, 14:55

QUOTE(Basara Nekki @ Oct 13 2016, 07:08) I in his position would do the same. I'd rather win in 12 attributes and losing only one. For me, "Savage" is not required, but only a bonus. I will not be sad if I did not get one.
You don't say? Whatever, if savage is only a bonus, then peerless compared to ~lmax adb leg is a bonus too. And then having lmax adb compared to 50 percentile adb is a bonus. And then having a 50 percentile adb compared to mag is a bonus. And then...oh wait, I have crude equipment now, but each step was only a bonus (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) QUOTE(Scremaz @ Oct 13 2016, 10:58) people are now more aware of the fact that going past a certain forge level is only a credit sink.

And then...oh wait, I have crude equipment now, but each step was only a bonus (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Depends on the viewpoint. For example: - Going from 20% ADB to 80% is a considerable gain not just a bonus (considering the same type of equipment; Leg Slaughter --> Leg Slaughter). - Change the level of equipment is also a gain, not a bonus (Mag --> Leg; Leg --> Peer). - But between a Peerless "non-Savage" and "Savage", the gain of "attack crit damage" is just a bonus, because all other attributes are the same. - And between a "Savage" LMax ADB and a Peerless, the gain are at all the other attributes, which can be low in the Leg (exemple: attack crit chance Min; END Min; etc). Well, it all depends on the preference of each one (and also pocket (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ).
