QUOTE(f4tal @ Jul 27 2016, 18:55) First time ever saw something like this. After page reloading everything is OK. I guess something wrong with my cookie or other user-data. I will left this pic here, maybe Tenboro will find it interesting? QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jul 27 2016, 10:41) you wanna laugh? spotted this while i was hunting for some Hulk items (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) How did you even find that? More importantly it's own by a service account! Also do Hulks still give void mit? I wanna see that for myself.

acyually it's the whole funny part QUOTE(sigo8 @ Jul 27 2016, 19:54) Also do Hulks still give void mit? I wanna see that for myself.
obviously not. no item can give you Void mitigation, otherwise it'd be pointless to have Void damage

Is it just me or is someone out to get their hands on every featherweight shard in the universe? The same person has bid on them in the last 2 Superlat auctions. It sucks having to compete against trillionaires for those things.

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jul 20 2016, 08:30) [Mat30] 500 Featherweight Shard (seller: djackallstar) piyin 80k At that rate, the cost is 160 credits for 60 minutes of Featherweighting. I think that's not bad, is it? Also note: the current highest WTB price for them is 0, apparently, via SmartSearch (no active buyers at all). Very few people want to buy them in any significant quantity, apparently - I think most players who aren't newbies will be finding more as random drops than they could possibly use themselves. Don't worry much, if you want to get your hands on a bunch for cheap it'll probably be quite easy, their market price is minuscule.

I see a bid for 50K for 10000 shards for your current auction. That's a jaw-dropping (to me) 5 credits per shard. But he has that on proxy bid, which is autobid, right? It's probably a waste of time to bidwar against that because he can afford to bid up the price until it's not worth it at all. I'll take that for 100k assuming they're as worthless as has been implied.

You should really just bid what you're willing to pay for it. You might get it. Else he'd get it for even less...

If you look at that user's bid history, you'll see that although lots of low bids are very frequent, higher bids aren't, there's usually quite a good chance one would be able to win after only a moderate bid increase. QUOTE(jacquelope @ Jul 28 2016, 04:45) But he has that on proxy bid, which is autobid, right? And if you proxy bid yourself you would guarantee not having to pay more than the very minimum yourself (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

yep. but it's not the matter of making the others pay more, it's more about the matter of standing a chance or throwing immediately the towel in (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jul 28 2016, 16:36) If you look at that user's bid history, you'll see that although lots of low bids are very frequent, higher bids aren't, there's usually quite a good chance one would be able to win after only a moderate bid increase.
not that it's so hard to understand, but judging by the amount of proxy bids appeared almost simultaneously, i guess that user is simply trying to restock his shop. it's not so bad of a thing but it means that he will indeed stops when the gamble isn't profitable anymore - which may mean less than the good's market value. even if he has the tendency to inflate prices he still knows a bit of what can sell and whatnot (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jul 28 2016, 16:36) And if you proxy bid yourself you would guarantee not having to pay more than the very minimum yourself (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) you sir, are a damn fox. you deserve K+ for this.
