I was recently buying Crystals of Vigor at 7c and didn't get too much attention. Primary Crystals are hard to buy loose these days, especially Fortitude and Vigor. I guess the sellers prefer selling Crytals in packs so they get every type sold. Besides, at 40k per Crystal Pack one Crystal already costs ~3.33c and at 36k it's 3c per Crystal.

The good thing is that Crystal Pack prices seem to be more stable now, I doubt they are going over 40k with the current demand.

you get more money for sure if all/most of the crystal are sold
but only when "all/most" of them.

the main point is "some crystal are unpopular and people prefer buy them with other crystal for lower price."
the demand of PAB crystal is higher (i guess) than those resistance one.

so they can't really sell them if they sold all/most of the PAB crystal

It's not just OCD: in terms of crystals per PL, the more you upgrade, the worse it is. So it's generally best to upgrade everything mostly evenly. Also, if someone sells all their Vigor and Fortitude, that means they're likely left with lots of leftover crystals they can't sell (because people generally don't buy spare crystals of other types that aren't full crystal packs, for the reason above).

I guess they count that they can sell more Crystals in the end by selling them in packs instead of just selling the types that are in high demand and leaving the others in their inventory. I think hbabu's shop shows the end result pretty well, he raises the price as stocks start running low, but most primary Crystals are still sold out. Even if you can sell half of the Crystal types at double the price and the rest stay unsold, the end result is the same. Except that you have tons of unwanted Crystals in your inventory.

Personally I like to buy some of my Crystals loose because I'm only feeding them to one monster and that way I get some specific upgrades cheaper. For example buying 67k Crytals loose at 8c is still about 2M cheaper than buying 67 Crystal Packs at 38k. In the end it's still wasteful to buy them loose though.

Should have proxy bid, etc etc... if you have a good idea of how much you value an item, there's very little benefit to forcing yourself to be awake and available during a possibly inconvenient auction ending time

Especially in an international forum like this one, the winner of an item should not depend on when a person goes to sleep and wakes up; it should only depend on how much they're willing to bid, which they can now do secretly, whenever they want.

One of the biggest reasons for everything I've done is so people can feel free to proxy bid their max anytime they want - whether that's at the beginning of the auction, in the last 15 minutes, or during the days between. (Ideally, during the days in between. That way there's an actual point for auctions to last 3 days instead of just 15 minutes)

It's always fun to watch GP exchange at times like this. By the way, I saw at least 5 players buy 19900 tickets by refreshing the lottery page constantly, so they probably used a Golden Lottery Ticket too. Just for shits and giggles, I put 25 tickets in today's lottery. I don't believe I can win, and even if I win, I will get soul fragments =)

Speaking of which, I think Tenboro should do something with this SoF prize, because everybody think about them as troll prize, not a real deal.
What do you want to see instead of Soul Fragment in Lottery? Except of ED, of course and I think this is stupid idea.

I guess it should be something un-tradeably but I don't know any un-tradeably staff except of tickets, tokens and souls.
Maybe just put a little hath-prize?
