That is an incredibly depressing Arena Clear Bonus.
Got 56 Trophies though.
Well, in a pure trophy gaining consideration, that's more efficient than doing the other 4 arenas, since it took me 2 hours and 5 minutes to do that. Versus the nearly 3 hours it would take me to run the other 4.

Still though, that did mean I managed to go through 501 Legendaries with only 1 spark activation.

I know on a per cast basis it's much faster, and I've experimented with various setups in the past, but I can't get the same speed/ease of use as I can with Banish.

Some problems:
1. Soul Fire doesn't proc SF 100% of the time. I've had instances where 3 casts in a row fail to "catch". Annoying.
2. Soul Burst costs waaaay too much mana. I've tried two ways to handle this. One, I cast it with CM up and every few rounds I replenish mana with ET. Found it to be too slow. Also requires breaking of my "rhythm" too often. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Two, I proc ET and only cast Soul Burst on channeling. Workable except if I don't get 2 channelings in a series, which happens far too often. Or when I get 0 before Soul Fire proc runs out forcing me to reproc it (see 1).
3. Hotkey usage is awkward.

With Banish, it's weaken/nerf, proc ET, spam Banish. Before the ET nerf, I could just repeat for 30 rounds straight before needing any sort of mana replenishment (via pot or ET). Now unfortunately, I need to replenish a bit every 15 rounds or so. Conveniently though, Konata is more resistant and is a natural mana battery. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have my own techniques to deal with these problems. The key is to not have to stop and recharge mana continually.

3. Hotkey usage is awkward.

Quickbar hotkeys are a no-no. Use the mouse and the standard 1-key hotkeys so you don't have to move your hands or fingers awkwardly.

That's not what's awkward about it. And mouse is a definite no-no. I rarely ever touch my mouse. All my hotkey setups are designed so I have access to all necessary spells. That way I don't have to move my hands at all. Just my fingers.
