true, but i'm quite positive that with the worth of amnesias needed to get Jug on 2 or 3 armors he may easily afford VV perk - keeping its benefits for every build and regardless of the items he will change. at that point, every Jug level would be an appreciated bonus.
if he really needs more HP now i guess VV perk is pretty solid (and cheaper!) investment

If it's going to keep the armor for some time it'a good investment of time and money (I would get VV before that, but that's another issue).

No! I have remembered how two month ago used two amnesia to get jug on my gauntlets in tier 1, so, technically, this is second time I used amnesia, but really first one, where I would like to get perfect IW and did full reforge. =)

also, sure, elemental prefix makes a bit easier but not so much: you're moving from 1/8 = 12.5% chance to 1/7 ~14.3% chance

Just a few cents - that's why you can hire someone to IW your gear. Just send amnesia to him (or money) and paid for his/her* work. Yes, this may costs much, but you will save a lot time. Superlatanium, Holy Demon and ariosty have such service. Maybe someone else, but I didn't check WTS/WTB so often. =)

And anyway, when you start spending 1m or more for an equip, a decent IW is the best use of time and money.
With the soulfuse bonus it's also pretty easy to reach IW10 in a couple of days max, even for not-so-high-level players.

Not exactly the answer you were looking for, but using the best possible IW strategy that I've found, it takes 37.12 +- 0.5 shards to get Jug 5 on an elemental-prefixed armor, assuming no use of Dark Decent.

Can anyone tell me why prices in trophies have changed? Don't get me wrong, I prefer selling them on higher price and would like even higher prices, but what the reason behind? ^_~
I fell myself stupid, when I sent my trophies to Kei and then decided to sell all my scrolls, went into his WTB to be sure is he still buying them, and have found higher prices on trophies... Damn! Forced to call mails back and change prices according to current situation. =)
