Does anyone else complete all arenas on Battletoads through Trio on a daily basis? I'm curious as to how my speed differs from others. I feel it's suffering because I still don't have a Mjolnir robe or gloves and have pretty bad pants.

Yes.

At "paying attention" speed, it takes me about 1 hour, 10 minutes or so. I'll time myself when I do it today (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I still can't clear End of Days on the normal setting.

I see. It's about the same then. I finished Arena + RoB Bosses in 68 minutes today. Though, I know it would be a lot faster and cost me less potions if I could get that equipment.

I guess I overestimated how much I actually pay attention when "paying attention".

Of course, I use Surtr + FoL, which I've found to be superior to Electric for arena stuff. Pretty much guaranteed 2 turn rounds if target Cows + Manthas in succession.

If you had two equal sets of fire and elec it probably wouldn't be that way.

They're fairly equal. Both full EDB sets.

Elec is +127.8% with +69 INT, +64 WIS, 94.9% MDM
Fire is +131.3% with +73 INT, +54 WIS, 90.3% MDM

Elec set does have about a 6% evade edge, but that's barely relevant now, since upping my agility a bunch really did work. Thanks for that btw.

It's been awhile since I've done it with my Elec set though, the last time was right after the resistance "fix". I'll test it tomorrow. The fire set has a little room left to go though. 70 levels on the gloves, 80 levels on the shoes, so overall quality wise it IS better. I'll probably stick with it either way.

Tested. Mind Rapers are way too resistant. Takes me 3 shots with WoT consistently.

Is that the whole round or just the Mind Raper? It dies in 2 shots about half the time if I target both shots at it, but then the Manthra survives 90% of the time. That's against using FoL and being able to target Mantha one round and Zombie Cow the next and having both die 90% of time.
Basically, 90% 3 turn rounds vs 90% 2 turn rounds considering only multiple miniboss rounds.

Also, as I've mentioned before, the first couple of EDB pieces have by far the greatest effect, with diminishing returns after that. It's not really necessary to have a full EDB set. 2-3 pieces are sufficient to gain 75% of the benefit roughly.

The whole round. Manthra survives 10-20% of the time, and Cancuck survives rarely. Occasionally takes 4 shots on Mind Raper if I don't get any crits. I would still need another surtr piece before I would be remotely close to catching my elec damage.

far from max base evade only at (5.25) max base evade for robe is 6.75

Is there a list or something that lists all the possible max stats for an item, as well as the increment steps? Meaning, at which percentage it can decrease? (e.g., afaik for evade it's always a 0.25 increment)
