I made myself feel better by doing a grindfest session (which I usually don't even bother with). I made back more than the credits I would've gained from clearing Endgame, a boss trophy, and even an artifact to boot. Look Endgame, I don't need you anymore, this relationship is over, I got something better now, and her name is Grindfest.

Ok, so I just found a new Ebony stick of blowy-upped-ness, and I found a new Katalox stick of the same a little while back.

It started me thinking about the max possible values for staves. We know all the other important ones already. Important defined by me as cloth gear with useful suffixes. EDB, Prof., Evade. Technically Battlecaster light too, but there's such a tiny sample size, it's not really realistic atm.

Essentially what I'm curious about is the following statistics. Listed value is scaled to 300. Value in parentheses is the base value.
Max MDM on Destruction for Ebony and Katalox:
Ebony: 61.6 (15.4)
Katalox: 56.78 (14.19)
I want to say that these have the same maximum, but obviously I can't be sure. Hmmm, maybe not. I'd love to see a 60+ Katalox though.

Max MDM on non-Destruction for both:
Ebony: 35.03 (8.76)
Katalox: 33.82 (8.46)
Again, I want to say these would be the same. Pretty sure I've seen higher for both as well.

Max EDB on EDB suffixed Ebony and Katalox (Mjolnir, Surtr, Heimdall, etc.):
Ebony: 33.48 (4.78)
Katalox: 33.48 (4.78)
Same max it seems.

Max EDB on non-suffixed for both (Destruction, Focus, etc.):
Ebony: 14.65 (2.09)
Katalox: 20.93 (2.99)
I think I've seen higher for Katalox too. Most likely different maximums considering the large discrepancy.

Max Prof. on Elementalist/Demon-Fiend/Heaven-Sent:
Ebony: 81.4 (11.63) I know Hito had/sold one of these that was higher than that. Just as a note, I'm not counting Alpha7's pre-nerf one.
Katalox: 70.68 (10.01) I know there has to be higher than that too.

Legs: 20.68 (I remember seeing something higher than this too)
Feet: 15.96

Seems to be in decreasing increments of around 2 @ level 300. 24->22(I assume)->20->18->16

If anyone has a higher value or has seen one for any category, feel free to post it.

Fire damage wise, probably better than both of mine. I can only imagine the perfect staff. 60+ MDM, 14+ Fire/Elec, 40+ Prof., 13+ INT. Probably would take a Magnificent roll to achieve though.

The highest MDM staff i've found is only 53.15@300 and its only a Fine Ebony Staff of Destruction. Its messed up that its stats are so close to that of a superior. Maybe its time I use my Shimmering Present on a staff.

Maybe you should make a new thread with all your proposed max stats so it can be stickied. I know I sure keep forgetting all the max EDB for phase a lot. What's the max for shoes?
