I am right now levelling my Equipment and I got a battle message that said stop kicking the dead horse and I lol'd when I realized it was my spikes hitting an already dead cookie monster. I have not learned that it is just and proper to be a clothie and run around with a staff casting magical death at everything but then again, I am still managing just fine with melee at my level. Also, I don't have very good cloth equipment. I am running around in light armor though.

A lying about a "pending trade" making your piece look like more valuable/high demanded, that's a trick.

It was a pending trade because I was in IW and didn't send my equip to buktore yet. I thought you might have wanted those shoes, but since I haven't sent my equip to buktore and haven't taken the shoes from the mooglemail yet, the owner of said shoes is questionable (which is why I explained the trade was pending). Also, how would that make the piece seem more valuable?

I kept the message, and few days later I saw the links again, then out of curiosity (since I knew it was strange trade, given the person) I asked him if such trade was real, which he confirmed it wasn't.

I thought that was obvious, given that buktore said he was looking for a kevlar helm on the forums a couple of minutes ago (which you saw and responded to by suggesting he create a wtb thread), and that I am a mage.

Ebony staff basically have no flaws, so start giving it a few sound like a sensible adjustment to me. That would be my a starting point.

Hey I am looking for some good armor that will improve my evade and physical mitigations that would befit my level. I am having very little luck in the drop department. I don't need any body suggestions as I have some Kevlar of the Frost Born. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why this is a big deal? Because:
1 - One way to sell/trade to benefiting the seller is making the client rushing his decision, allowing to make a bad judgment this is a trick normally acceptable, but using a lie for this propose it's called cheating.
2 - We traded enough chat for me to understand ages ago, you'll try anything to get what you want, you don't break "written rules", but you take advantage of every gaps the same said rules have.

This argument is finished for me, say whatever you want.

That's being clever. Besides, like I said before, if you wanted that superior ethereal, you would have paid more attention to the auction. The reason you did not get the shortsword was your fault alone. Like the old times, where the person who's more active and sends a pm to the seller first gets the equip, the one who is more active and pays more attention to auctions wins. (Utilitarian distribution--the one who cares more wants it more and thus should have it) While we're on that subject, I'm sure that you knew perfectly well that demoneyesbob (who is currently inactive, I think) and I were interested in that shortsword as we made a post in 4everlost's wts thread. Again, if you're going to say something like: it's not my fault I don't remember something I read a month ago, I'm going to respond: the fault falls entirely on you.
Maybe if you cared enough and didn't spend so much time arguing, you would have noticed that there was a superior ethereal axe on sale for 10k the thread under.

My point is, you don't understand what are dick moves, and probably because you also don't understand what means to be polite, or what good will is. (You know, doing something for others without getting a reward)

I don't know where this suddenly came from, but the reason why I didn't get the shortsword, it was because I in a PM let 4ever choose following the rules, without bother him with a future stupid argument you would made right after.

I quickly bought the robe because I thought it was better than my own, later I realized it wasn't. So I put it for sale for 100k, so what? I think you are misunderstanding some things, I or anyone else can put his own stuff for sale whatever price is.
Trying to convince others it's worthy sale for the buyer, that's another thing. The way this is made, can be by cheating, or not.
Btw I didn't convince anyone to buy it. That price was the minimum price I was willing to sell.
So remind me, what rule I did bent?
Plus I not saying we must be "angels", humans are imperfect, but there's a limit for everything.

I supported Buktore with all my hard earned credits, 3800 to be exact, in the belief he was selling hath but I quickly realized after the Mooglemail was sent that he was the one buying it and I just gave him the money to buy it. I am glad I gave you the help you needed to get Hath because I know at my level I won't be able to get enough credits to buy Hath anyway.
