http://ehwiki.org/wiki/EHTracker#Rewards says GP depends on size of the torrent, but it doesn't say that toplist points do. If toplist points depend only on completions and seedmins, and seedmins count even if the gallery is never downloaded, then maybe you're being pushed off the toplist by people who spam torrents on small galleries and dead galleries.

ps: lol, in the yearly top50 toplist a person, who done most of his score in last 7 days of year with just 300+ torrents.
thats not even a spam...

upd: and that means olny completions counts mostly affected on score. too sad for me and my big useless torrents.

well, testing now:spamming torrent on every new gallery. in one day that will ~triple all my EHTracker activity for last 5 years (if count only completes)

upd: and that means olny completions counts mostly affected on score. too sad for me and my big useless torrents.

not an expert, but personally i find more appealing a series of little torrents rather a huge, tanky one. especially if it comes with either only a single RAR or in a very big gallery, whch gives close-to-zero chances of browsing

For big galleries, I agree that would be easier, but with current rules, smaller torrents will be put on the to-expunge list if a more complete torrent for the gallery exists.

here's mine. i'm haven't upload anything/torrents for a long while. it seems aside from the total uploaded and up/down ratio. nothing of yours look too special.

That should work, a single torrent, if big and shared enough, can usually push me in the top50 for a day, so creating many torrents should easily help you get in the toplist.

yep, your completes and seedmins counts pretty high.
in my case all stats from only single torrent at time. and with current score system i got nothing with more uploads...

That's not really true. It takes a month or more to save up hundreds of HGx.
At that rate, you can fully forge one item for a set in what.. a year? (takes at least a couple thousand)

You plebs consume way more than we 'high level' players can generate.

HGx is pricey because it's RARE.

i'm not really fond of this level of economy but you know, it's not like only higherups can forge. in the current HV it's basically impossible to survive without at least a little forging. and while looking for upgrades of one shade piece of mine, i saw a certain piece of a certain someone: i guess that the materials needed for that piece alone were on par with all i've used to forge both my current sets (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

yep, just like it should work: you(or your PC)(or your money (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)) doing work for system and get reward instead.
right now ~2 weeks of spam can give you yearly EHTracker top10.

tbh, upload speed doesn't really matter that much. since, once there's more completions there are more "seeds"/helps. iirc, you can just DL the Newest galleries then make a torrent. Do 10-20 a day and you can get into top 50 pretty regularly.

But in that way you're being rude to the peers, and more likely than not someone will make another torrent and seed at 1MB/s.

then another way may be to be lucky enough to find - just saying - a full Black Dog or Gumma works first. btw, what's so special with THE top gallery of all-time? it seems to me it was only lucky enough to end first and now everybody clicks on it just to see what it is (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
