I'm not really willing to code that anyway, it was more of an idea on what would be possible to do. But if done, it can totally work for several people, providing they set up their own VPS individually (and maybe not use the same VPS provider as we just said).

how much cost now to rent a acceptable server for that purpose?

if you plan use that only by yourself - much cheaper for you just change your ISP.
if not = lots of accounts from same ip/browser/OS/etc which cant be checked for unique = ban for all of them.

If you have a VPS (in the Netherlands), it may be possible to set it up so it only sends a json feed with the data that needs to be changed during battles, coupled client-side with a Reloader-like userscript that can parse the data and update the UI. It should be handy for people with a limited data plan.

HV doesn't require so large amount of data exchange, it won't affect your website use commonly, unless there are 10-20 peoples using a VPS.

Usually we get a unique present and 3 stocking stuffers on Xmas day (I think 10 hath as well, but that could be subject to change). Tenboro also starts the yuletide lottery about that time.
