I HATE Swift Strike.

I was doing IW for my off hand Wakizashi, got OOBBB in the latest run. I thought "at least it's not Switft Strike" until I realized that Butcher is even less useful for an offhand. Now I'm waiting for more Amnesias to start over yet again.

what's the waki? what did you earn in the end? if waki is so-so and you have Overpower 5 or at least a few Fatality levels mixed in, then you can bear with a few Butchers

It's the Legendary Fiery Wakizashi of the Nimble I bought on Bazaar a while ago. It's still at the OOBBB state, so Overpower 5 isn't very likely. My reasoning for the Swift Strike being more useful than Butcher is that Swift Strike might help with survivability, but Butcher won't help much with the damage panalty of off hand weapons. Of course Overpower and Fatality are the most desireable ones. I think I will reforge it once I get enough Amnesias, but seems like they are in high demand in WTB and really rare as drops, so it will take a while before my next attempt.

I'm ok with how it's turning out, but another level of Holyproof would be nice.

It's working nicely for me. Though my backup shield worked just fine in IWBTH IW of my primary shield (77 rounds). I think I'm selling the backup shield soon since I was only keeping if to IW my primary shield. Most likely I won't get back what I spent on it, but it has been useful too. Now I got the primary shield IW finished too, only one level of Holyproof more, two would have been optimal. At least I got Fireproof 5, either that or Holyproof 5 was my goal, so I would call the IW a success.

Fun fact: I have not got a single Precursor Artifact for three days and I have done a total of ~1500-1700 rounds during that time. Snowflake is not blessing me with the Artifacts at the moment (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
