I'd rather have Soul Fragments than a shitty Golden Lottery Ticket tbh. The only time I've ever won I got one of those. They don't look like a prize to me, when you get it it's like HV is telling you "You didn't win. Tough luck, try again, oh and you can use this item to increase your chances, but don't hold your breath."

I wanted the item, Kei (Kyoko Hori) won it and salvaged/bazaar'd it because he wasn't aiming for it. I would've used it. People shouldn't play (at least not with an enourmous amount of tickets) on days when the 1st prize isn't something they want.

Equipment > Chaos Token > Blood Token > Golden Lottery Ticket > Artifact > Soul Fragment
for me.

BTW, not winning in lottery is just a small part of my dismay.

In other news HV is flashing like crazy again. Time to do only REs again.

I'm in Europe btw. I can't imagine how people in Asia and America can stand playing this.

Difficult to have the motivation to grind when getting pissed off in every aspect.

I play thinking I won't get anything good. If something good actually drops, I consider that as a bonus! That's why I never get de-motivated here. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This so much. In fact I'm inclined to say that because of the current state of the lottery rewards, there should only be three prizes - The Weapon/Armor and the Blood/Chaos Tokens. Tickets are already garbage and Soul Fragments are even worse and even more so when both have less value than the tokens themselves.

Golden tickets can provide up to ~4m credits worth of tickets.

If chaos tokens were #2 instead of #5 it would be much easier to collude to generate and force-win tokens on a day when the equipment piece was unattractive. Always easier to get two lovers to co-operate than five casual conspirators, although it would still cost at least ~190k per token.

That's what happens when one spend many ~1000s of $$$. You start expecting stuff. Everytime I drive my Mercedes AMG around, yes, I feel my money is well spent. I drop many 1000s here and I get annoyed when DwD gives me magnificent plates of deflection, with only 2 PABs. Or REs give me Legendary leathers. Pretty sure StonyCat has put in >$10k.

Golden Tix are not bad consolation prizes. I prefer them over blood tokens.

i'm an apprentice, and my contract will last only 3 months. shouldn't santa claus bring me a gift, i will return being unemployed with New Year's Eve. but again, even with a new contract, i will still restart as an apprentice, with 3 months, low cash, no holidays, no social contributions... Soul Fragments are only useful if you have gear you need to soulfuse in the first place. I don't know about you, but I don't have hundreds of equipment and or sets lying around in wait of being soulfused.

You may see it as 400k not spent, but I see it as 3.6m lost on something very medicore.

yup, i consider to have something worth soulfusing - even if i didn't do it yet and many people may consier my standards a bit low: for example, my main rapier has only 2PABs. 40 fragments or so may mean a free soulfuse to me, so they will surely be well accepted - especially since the other choice is not winning anything. better 400k or zero? surely, you can tell me it's still 3.6m lost, but at this point i may tell you that since i didn't go out this evening i lost the chance to hit scarlett, anna and jessica (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That all differs from person to person. 43 Soul Fragments to you may be worthwhile, but to me it's nothing, it's in your words, a zero.

Anyway, I'm not here to debate on what's useful to each individual player.
