Since you found the additional ADB to be balanced against more turns required to gain overcharge, isn't it a good time to sell it while it's hot and in-demand, before the next patch nerfs 1h further and since you're planning to switch to mage anyway?

The turns-thing was just a wild guess, I was wondering if anyone else had thought about it or run numbers on it, but I guess not. It's also only relevant when one is using OFC whenever they can, which is only during a third or so of Arena rounds (otherwise SS is endless, OC gain unimportant). Especially since GF (lots of OFC) seems much more pointless now, I'll definitely gain a lot more than I lose by using the Slaughter instead.

On one hand, it'll significantly increase my clear speed. On the other hand, if the patch comes soon it'll be a waste. How much do I want to bet that the patch will take multiple months to come out... hmm...

Tenboro declared that he was going to balance things about 1h in the last patch, but decided to shift it to a later patch, since patch 0.82 was already pretty big itself.

Mages should be allowed to equip wands (new one-handed mage weapon type with MDB, EDB, proficiency etc, but no physical attack or ether tap, and overcharge is built by casting spells) and a buckler (and use shield bash)!
