QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ Mar 11 2011, 02:46) The only time he's ever made a major change in training cost, he wrote a script to refund all credits for that training and reset it to zero. I think that would be incredibly hard to do now. In particular, it would be difficult to issue a refund while incorporating the credit perk training discount, unless the full base amount was issued.
Interesting, I just figured Tenb didn't do refunds because it was too troublesome. Thanks for that little piece of insight.

Speaking of which, I think the cheaper perks should be updated, I mean 5 hath is nothing difficult for a lurker to buy, and where they will buy it? At the hath exchange at almost any price, preventing from prices go down. (Oh I hate these prices) QUOTE(buktore @ Mar 11 2011, 01:51) It probably worth that amount to someone, but most are practically worthless to me, like all the mage gear for example. I will be more than happy to trade all of these, just for an upgrade for my Kevlar helm...
Another reason to do it, who knows if someone has your dream kev cap.

QUOTE(Golden Sun @ Mar 10 2011, 20:02) ability points = mysterious box The mysterious box was given instead of a refund because so few people were negatively impacted by the change. Nearly everyone was screwed by the AL change. I used to have it maxed at 500, at a fraction of the cost it's at now.

Instead of reducing the training costs, I rather TB increase the exp from monsters according to player level. But then again, I also wouldn't mind a reduction to training costs, however unlikely this possibility would be.

a reduction to training costs sounds like a good idea to me, since with the latest update there are a bunch of new stuff in the trainer section to do
ooh 1k

I don't know how you all can stare at your equipment inventory pages and not go mad. I have 44 keeper-ish items atm and it makes me twitchy.

Well I originally had ~150-200 "keeper" equips, as you put it, but I decided not to be a hoarding lunatic and realized that even if mages get nerfed to hell and somehow light armor becomes the best choice, or some other crazy thing happens, I can fucking manage xD Pretty much have 3 armor sets I always use, 4 sets for special occasions (such as thrice blessed, spirit ward, etc) A niten set I use, 3 staffs I use, 2 DW sets, 1 bleeder axe. 5 scythes, 2 katanas, 5 Staffs - all for auction. 4 equips I level through IW and 9 equips for tinkering (some kevlar, clubs, maces, etc. Just to see how that shit compares xD) Edit: QUOTE(Ballistic9 @ Mar 11 2011, 21:20) I don't know how you all can stare at your equipment inventory pages and not go mad. See the thing is, this game makes you into a fucking hoarder. I seriously kept all longswords I used to use as I went from lvl 1-90. That was like ~40 pieces of wasted space right there. And what did I end up doing with them? Sold to the bazaar. Cause you think that this shit is gonna be worth something, or that, the system will be revamped and some shit will become more powerful, so you need 20 variations of light, cloth and heavy in case shit happens. Just ask around, fucking everyone has equip "in case of a rainy day", in case it rains what, binary acid? This post has been edited by (Cheater) KamuiSeph: Mar 11 2011, 21:24

"Are you sure you want to sell all of your equipment, items, house, car, worldly goods, grandmother, and immortal soul for 100 credits?" Right now I have 230 pieces, of which (does a quick count) 130 would be in my shop if it were ever to re-open. So that's 100 I'm keeping for myself. Apart from the things I actually use, I like to keep anything with a particularly high value of any stat. Not necessarily because I think it'll be useful some day - I just like to experiment with things. Hence I have lots of stuff like this lying around.

Desk, meet Head. I'm usually floating around the 1000 piece cap by the end of the week, and then get to 7-800 when I finish doing inventory. I still haven't gotten around to clearing out some of the old fodder since its such a pain in the ass going through so many equips and comparing to make sure I don't toss something good because I never noticed it before. If I finish feeding the crap to the bazaar and trying to sell of the not-quite-crap, I might have about 2-300 keepers, for just in case.
