The items in auction not only become 50k or 10m, and need to be not too far higher then our level, but also need a lot of resource to bind to the items' level to oneself to make the items useful.

Nope. Already settled players have good enough gears already to survive in this patch. The ones who are screwed up right now are the newly joined <200 players.

How sad is this? I'm considering upgrading from a very old Magnificent to a new Magnificent.

Seems pretty worthwhile, right? I concede that I'll never find my own Legendary or Peerless upgrades. And of course, it's one of the pieces I used my Soul Fragments on as well...
