My keyboard is 10+, 4th computer. No reason to swap if it still works well. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Though the USB ports on the top are 1.1. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) They are still good for connecting the mouse though.

my USB 3.0 is very unstable (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) , so I'm using my 2.0 as main USB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I've been using the same keyboard and mouse for probably 12~15 years. It's kind of gross, now that I think about it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) My mouse is actually on the edge of breaking (thanks to HV, I'm sure), and the thought of replacing it terrifies me.

new generation keyboard will not last that long , especially when you playing HV without mouseemelee like me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

BTW, I still change my keyboard from time to time because it is too dirty and I have no way to clear it.

The cheapest keyboard from Logitech can last for 10 years. Not sure about the more expensive one.

I changed my mouse when optical mice first became available around the year 2000 but I haven't bought a new one since. The buttons do require occasional cleaning though otherwise they don't click properly.

Its time to get a mechanical keyboard. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It feels so much better when I first got mine.

my keyboard suddenly stopped working, spent 2 hours choosing new. 95% of them are total chinese trash and 100% of them are chinese.
my first one worked 11 years with 3 different PC until i doused it with hot sugary tea.
after that i buying new one each year and all of them stop working after several days of warranty's(?) end.
that depressing me.

I need to replace my current keyboards and mouses too. Some keys and the left click aren't working properly. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
Oh, and they are only 2 years old.

I've had to change my keyboard and mouse more than 10 times in the past 18 years. The count will increase in a few days again! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Old days, huh? Such nostalgia. We used to play a F1 like racing game (A DOS game made by one of my friend's brother) like crazy. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

And talk about "unbeatable game", it reminds me of "Shinobi III". The last level was just insane! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) Anyone here played it?

By not spilling shit on them and occasionally cleaning. Oh, and they have to be good quality to being with.

Now everything is designed to break shortly after the warranty expires. Another good reason to not replace a durable old keyboard.

Well there are always outliers since no manufacturing and/or design process is perfect. And probably poor communication between engineers and management. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'm not going to say any names (ALTEC LANSING) but some things, like speakers, are designed to be unservicable without breaking them. The screws are only for show.
