QUOTE(Death Grunty @ Oct 28 2010, 06:27) [Chaos Token] huh. Sound kinda badass. Something to look forward to.
Sounds like Sonic (the Hedgehog) to me. Will it let me go SSJ to defeat End of Days on Battletoads? Yeah right. Tenboro would never make something that cool and useful. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

The chaos tokens are like blood tokens: Introduced before their use has been added.

I'm considering not reopening my shop and dumping the rest of my crap in the Bazaar. Its way more hassle than the piddly amount of credits I could get from it and I can't keep a decent stock with that inventory cap.

Shouldn't nerfing the bosses/mobs make things easier in clearing Arenas/IWs/etc and improving chances to drop more equipment? Isn't that good news? What I want to know is did he nerf the Gods in RoB?? That would be very welcome to me.

The hell it would. I want them to remain the same difficulty. (outside the scroll/infusion thing I can choose not take advantage from) This post has been edited by cmdct: Oct 29 2010, 01:46

No idea. Anyway, I hope he didn't. They've been too easy for too long.

I'm never selling anything again. Cmal is closing his shop. Most high level players might stop playing because there is no way of "progressing". This is an absolute disaster to low level people. People have been able to find elementalist gear for reasonable prices (not necessarily the greatest pieces, but still). That was not true in the past.

QUOTE Most high level players might stop playing because there is no way of "progressing". I'm sorry but could you explain a little? I don't understand why this is such a disaster for high level people? Is it because the game got a lot easier for you and theres no fun anymore? Whats the big problem here? You can still level up and get good equipment, etc. This post has been edited by shiki666: Oct 29 2010, 02:41

The next level of Quartermaster costs me a million credits. Lod? 1.4 million. Credits have been nerfed to the point that those are infinitely less useful than their already useless selves, even if I COULD get them anymore.

If the bazzar buying prices were increased a lot, people rather look in players shops than bazzar. QUOTE(Boggyb @ Oct 29 2010, 01:34) Most high level players might stop playing because there is no way of "progressing". The huge problem wasn't the decrease in earning credits, but the fact the HV related stuff (trainings/perks) wasn't become cheaper as well. QUOTE(Boggyb @ Oct 29 2010, 01:34) This is an absolute disaster to low level people. But it allow no more lurkers abusing the system. Do you mean to say he raised the prices on the training or was that the same price for you as before? I never got that high so I wouldn't know. Plus you still do make good money holding auctions or you could always sell hath at ridiculous prices on the hath auction so those ways are always profitable. And if you really need the creds and its worth it to you, there are bounties too. How did he "nerf" the credits? They're still earned as normal (you sell drops, hold auctions for the good stuff, etc) except Tenboro added a little bonus giving away unlimited credit rewards now for Arenas which definitely helps the mid-lower level players or those who don't have too much time to play this. So there are still options for you and the others. Edit: I may be wrong here but I've recently been noticing getting more drops now (usually potions). Same as before. QUOTE(shiki666 @ Oct 28 2010, 17:53) Plus you still do make good money holding auctions Auction prices are likely to decrease due to less credits and less desire to improve equipment. Also, the 10% trophy drop for bosses/legendaries outside of the final round means I'm not going to be getting anything worth auctioning ever again. QUOTE(shiki666 @ Oct 28 2010, 17:53) or you could always sell hath at ridiculous prices on the hath auction so those ways are always profitable. Hath prices will fall because high level people are the ones buying the hath for the higher perks. Less credits means that people will want/be able to afford less. Also, I like having hath. QUOTE(shiki666 @ Oct 28 2010, 17:53) How did he "nerf" the credits? 1) He halved the sale price of equipment. I'm pretty sure he also halved the sale price of items. 2) I get less from each enemy. 3) I can't sell as many pieces of equipment because I'm not getting the sheer number of trophies I used to. QUOTE(shiki666 @ Oct 28 2010, 17:53) except Tenboro added a little bonus giving away unlimited credit rewards now for Arenas which definitely helps the mid-lower level players or those who don't have too much time to play this.
Those bonuses are piss nothing. QUOTE(shiki666 @ Oct 28 2010, 17:53) Edit: I may be wrong here but I've recently been noticing getting more drops now (usually potions).
I've noticed that as well. Doesn't matter because their lower sale prices and the fact that items aren't what I make my money from. This post has been edited by Boggyb: Oct 29 2010, 03:02

Are you serious? Where exactly do you think we got all the equip that we auctioned in the first place? You do realize that like 1 good piece elementalist gear drops for every 500 pieces of crap usually. It might actually be worse now that gossamer drops with priestess suffixes and such. Most of the stuff in my shop/auctions came from trophies. And with the giant nerf in equip sale prices + the fact that Tenboro actually raised the sale cost of the trophies themselves, I'm currently trying to find incentive to not just dump my trophies in the bazaar. How were the credits nerfed? Drops sell for 1/4 or less than they used to. It's become 10x harder to get good drops now. They were usually never drops in the first place, but shrine offerings. And yes Tenboro made it so I could get like 10k credits more from the arenas. Whoopdeedoo, too bad my next LoD training is a million credits. It's good for lower level players in the short term. Maybe. Even when I was lower level, I'm certain item/equip sales netted me more than you can get from arenas now. So actually, I think you guys got screwed too, but just don't realize it yet. Also, what's your incentive to get to our level now? There's nothing to gain. You don't get access to better arenas, you get access to useless ones after lvl 200. You can't even say that you're playing for a sense of accomplishment either, since you can now officially buy your way into ANY victory. Infinite scrolls of the gods (and they are infinite since you can fricking buy them), means it's impossible to fail any RoB or arena challenge, as long as you're not hopelessly unprepared. Double post cause I can, and it's easier. QUOTE(Boggyb @ Oct 28 2010, 18:01) Same as before.

Much less desire to improve equipment. Why pay 50k for an equip upgrade when you can just clear the RoB by buying/saving up 50 scrolls of the gods? Also, with monster defense nerfs or whatever, I can one-shot normal rounds half naked, anyways. Ditto. Ditto. 1)It's more than halved. And many of the items, infusions and elixirs in particular, sell for like 1/4 or 1/5 of what they used to. 2) Ditto. 3) Ditto. You get more item drops in the last round of an arena. But that's still piss nothing as Boggy said. As I said before, the whole Chaos thing had better be something amazing. This post has been edited by Conquest101: Oct 29 2010, 03:18

I think that whole buying your way to victory thing was added to make HV even more of a credit sink.

Good. You guys are finally starting to get pissed off, as you should be. QUOTE(Conquest101 @ Oct 28 2010, 20:15) 1)It's more than halved. And many of the items, infusions and elixirs in particular, sell for like 1/4 or 1/5 of what they used to. Staffs are also 1/4. I'm pretty sure all equipment is. Sooo, 10% trophy drop on non-final rounds (still haven't gotten one on dozens of rounds) and 1/4 sale value. That's 1/40 the credits from trophies alone. Then there's the more minor issue of the actual credit drops from legendaries being reduced by about 95% (from 200 on normal down to about 10.)
