no, because with the gold star come also a cookie, an expansion to monster lab and some other tweaks/perks that make this goal a sort of discontinuity.

also, with a bit less than the same amount of money you could rent a server for 1 year, which will give you 18M and counting with a 7.5kC/hath ratio, not bad

I'm curious, too, and here is my calculation.
If a star cost 26m, then the player need to earn an extra 25m to pay off the debt.
When the dawn event is triggered, the player gets about 41600c.
Assuming that a player can earn 300,000c on average by clearing all arenas (including selling crap equips), s/he earns 341,600 every day.
Also assume that the cost for repairing equips and Energy Drink can be covered by artifact drop.
=> 25000000/341600 ~ 74 (days)
=> S/he needs about 2 month and 2 weeks to pay off the debt.

The exact time needed should be shorter because s/he also gets scrolls/infusions/shards/crystals/happy pills/... as drop.

PS. I remember that n125 said if one is crazy enough to do GF all day, s/he can probably earn ~1M every day, so for a hardcore player the time to pay off the debt is less than one month.

Its only possible with good connection. For me, 500k a day is a max. Assuming I have enough ED.
However, do not under estimate the monsters' gift. It could worth few hundreds k per day.

I'm earning around 5m per month I guess? I don't play that heavily though, just doing the 2nd page arenas everyday.

it's more likely they are also hath barons. still, there are some of them, but we're actually speaking about some really heavy/lucky/oldtime players.
