It's strange, prior to like a week ago or so, I never had any problems. The occasional server hiccup that caused everyone troubles, but never this kind of persistent lag. To my knowledge, nothing has changed with my ISP or my connection either.

The host for the HV server has been having some problems with a bad upstream for the last five days or so, but they seem to do a decent job routing around it. I suppose it's possible that the performance is periodically poor for certain routes/destinations, but that could be the case with any host.

It's interesting to note that this lag didn't appear until we got the new forum server which I think it's the culprit for causing this.

What? No, that has nothing to do with it. The interaction between the "forum server" and the "HV server" is minimal, it's basically limited to writing a log entry at the end of each battle. Internally, the number of failed connections has dropped from "fix this shit" to none.

Today I just log-in after I take a break from HV for a few days. (really, who cares!?) ... Reading back a few pages, I seem to missed some event involved Razorflame, maybe that's why he visited me... I'm not really in the mood, however.

Oh, Nipples is an anime hamster? OK, I should've known considering the junior high mentality around here. When Thor blasted "nipples," it made me pause and wonder. I was kinda picturing him giving someone a pearl necklace.

last week i found atleast 5 every day, but i only seem to get 2-3 now because i am doing half of my IW the whole week. So i don't think that it has changed for me

how many rounds do you do each day
and if you use STATS has your rounds/artifacts changed much

for the most part one days sample is too small. check it over a week or more.

I have Level 4 Archaeologist, I do between 1000 and 1200 rounds a day, and my rounds/artifacts has gone from 1 every 535 rounds to one in 789 rounds (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Most of the item worlds I do are in Fine through Magnificent equips.

it goes day by day.. it varies from 3 at even 10
always IW in average-fine at nightmare-heroic-hard difficulty
sometimes i found more in cakefest

i have archeologist 4, quartermaster to 9

Almost every IW I do is on Hard or higher difficulty, so that isn't the issue. The issue is that I've played more than 2500 rounds the past two days without a single artifact drop (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

The drought is over. I finally got an artifact after more than 3000 rounds (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Just thought I'd mention that, since playing arenas is incredibly tedious for me at the moment, I've been looking into the spell damage calculations instead. Might as well get some useful information while I'm not enjoying it. Of course, some of the results aren't actually all that useful... Expect an update soon.

The value of evade gear has dropped considerably in general. Those have the 2nd highest confirmed evade on fleet shoes though. 4.75 being the highest.
