Hmmm, for some reason right around now, HV always lags for me. It's fine most of the day, but for a few hours around this time, it always lags every day. Like every few turns or so, it hangs for a couple of seconds.

Anyone else get this?

Well, these are the peak hours, roughly from 12 to 19 UTC. The server doesn't show any sign of being overloaded, but if it's load dependent, now would be the time.

Hmmm, well that might be the cause I guess.

It's strange, prior to like a week ago or so, I never had any problems. The occasional server hiccup that caused everyone troubles, but never this kind of persistent lag. To my knowledge, nothing has changed with my ISP or my connection either.

Well, lets hope it vanishes for me as mysteriously as it started.

Oh. Someone else with the same experience. So it's not just something with me.

Obviously not everyone gets it though. I'm guessing it's location based, like was brought up before?

I'm in Belgium and I've been getting tons of lag the last few days.

I get lag sometimes and it takes an hour or 2 to get it back to usual speed. Ive also noticed the archive dl speed and gallery upload is so much slower then before, i had around 950KB/s before now around 200-300. In Sweden btw.

Nope, I don't get any lag.

Europe not being affected was only a speculation that I made based on other people's experiences.
It seems that some parts of Europe do get the same lag that we do so I'm suspecting it's server related rather than region.

It's interesting to note that this lag didn't appear until we got the new forum server which I think it's the culprit for causing this.
