It seems to me like there'll be an option to activate and deactivate your monsters. So this is what Tenboro's gonna do: He will limit the number of active monsters to something like 1. Then everyone gonna have to decide on one >active< while the others are inactive. Knowing him you'll probably be able to upgrade the number of active slots though. This is gonna happen, cuz the flood of unwanted names is really bad. I can see why anyone would complain.

Perhaps it's what Beastmaster is for, activating slots. Anyone trained a level yet?

Nope, Beastmaster is very low on my priority list for trainings right now. Right now, Spelunker is the highest priority on my trainings list for obvious reasons.

So. More testing. The decreased HP means that Blue Slimes/Scary Ghosts rarely survive even on Battletoads. Less than before. Instead, some of the resistant new monster survive instead. For all intents and purposes, little has changed for me there. My one-shot capability remains roughly the same. I would expect this, and a lot more, to change after we can level up our monsters. Test of IWBTH on a Magnificent IW. I can clear it without TOO much trouble, but it requires infusions after about 100 rounds or so. Still though, that's to the tune of like 70+ million EXP for one clear. A bit much perhaps (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I did, wanted to see what it was but as i expected it just opened up another monster slot. Works the same as opening up a monster slot with chaos tokens.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) The HP is reduced for old mobs but the new monsters are a pain, some of them even have 20% more HP than their counterparts. How many times did you trigger spark to clear the magnificent?

If it's too much EXP for you then do battletoads instead >___< Having that x25 definitely helps people who can't play HV all day long because of class/work/other. Like me.

Also did Tiro&Tree on IWBTH most monsters had ~100k life and the final round had 1.6million hit points. Think I'll need to change up my equipment/stats a little to get higher evade, Shield rating, Barrier rating. I think the channeling and ET was a pain. Not getting it when I tried to get it.

What mana restoratives and how many did you use? After this update I find that I use a lot more mana than I did before, probably has to do with the CM issue. Also, is it a guaranteed 2 level increase like BT or did you get 3?

8 Godlies, 2 Elixirs. I got a 2 level increase. If there's a higher chance for 3, it'll have to be confirmed by Tenboro. Also, ET -> Channeling seemed to work ok the few times I did it. Under what conditions does it fail exactly? This post has been edited by Conquest101: Jan 31 2011, 05:49

I didn't really test it, but some people couldn't get it to work. Apparently it had something to do with it not working unless the primary mob survives.

Still happening to me. HUGE pain in the ass. That + halving the mana drained by ET from Legendaries has made EoD unplayable.

x5 scroll of life. Scroll of life are essentially useless now with the sp drain. And I wasn't exactly needing them anyway. The crystals I don't mind too much, but I'd be much happier if the consumable drops didn't include things like scroll of life.

How do I deal with the SP drain when using Spark of Life/Scrolls of the Gods when I face FSM over that prolonged battle?
