The flow of maging prevents PA from being useful.

In all honesty, imperil has twice the speed of applying PA though while being possibly better in mitigation. Small mana cost though.

Yes, it used to apply to magical mitigation a long time ago, when there's still something called 'attack rating' and 'defense rating'. IIRC it's BC rapier so you can actually kill FSM. On normal.

That's different from poison though, it's after the PA fix when people's searching for some efficient way to kill FSM. What you need is a staff with high curse-weaving prof (to increase poison's damage), then slowly grind FSM to death using that ultra-powerful poison.

I remember Ratings. I'm glad they no longer exist. I can't have been the only one who looked at the patch that removed them and wonder who was getting inadvertantly fucked, because replacing a system that opaque and complex was certain to screw someone over.

Imperil and PA are in completely different classes.

Plus, PA for mages means meleeing, which is a death warrant for any mage.

I've had several legendary drops: Cotton Gloves, Eth Dagger, Jade Plate of Deflection.

And 73 pony figures, I think. Not sure, currently have 27 but I shrined around 46 I think.

Normal FTW. Though I'm not sure if leg drops were on normal....
