Been wondering that too. Also been wondering if he'll change the battle log so the starting info (round #, monster info etc) remains viewable no matter how long the battle takes.

Wondering how he'll change the shrine and useless cotton/leather drops.
Edit: did hv just go down? perhaps update? nvm... just a lag spike.

I've been wondering when people will stop wondering whether TB will implement this or that since he has his own agenda of things to add to the next release.
Q: TB, what are you wondering about?
Oops, wrong thread.

QUOTE(Golden Sun @ Jan 29 2011, 20:26) 2009 had 2-5 releases per month.
There are good reasons for that. Everything else didn't take quite so much effort to keep running smoothly in 2009. The 2009 releases were much smaller (not that this is a bad thing but it's hard to find a point to freeze/test/release) - 0.5 is huuuge. And for some reason, in 2009, I was spending a lot more time on HV than the other parts of the site. Seriously, I wish I had infinite time to work on it, but as it is, I don't. QUOTE(cmal @ Jan 29 2011, 20:34) Here's something I've been wondering: will the HV window be made bigger if things start getting a little cramped?
At some point, maybe. Probably not any time soon though, going above 1024x isn't current-generation tablet friendly.

Just a question Tenboro, but what kind of coding does HV use? I am assuming something like Javascript, but I know it isn't Java...it couldn't be plain HTML coding, could it?
Also, HV works on Tablets?

The backend is written in PHP, like most of the stuff I do. But there are about 1800 lines of JavaScript on the client side as well that qualifies as "code". QUOTE(Razorflame @ Jan 29 2011, 20:53) Also, HV works on Tablets?
As long as the tablet supports standard HTML+JavaScript, it should work. But I honestly never tried.

Another question while you are here: I got a "Crystal of Corruption from the Bazaar back in December from the Bazaar. Was this a test item you made, or is it implemented in 0.5.0?
One final question: Is there going to be a training or Hath perk to increase a players' max equipment inventory size?
Thanks!

It's a secret to everybody. QUOTE(Razorflame @ Jan 29 2011, 20:59) One final question: Is there going to be a training or Hath perk to increase a players' max equipment inventory size?
The limit was put in for performance reasons, so no.

Thanks for answering my question Tenboro. You are indeed a deity for making this site, the galleries and HV.

Is it just me, or has HV been getting slower and slower over the past day to the point of being unplayable?
Also:

Wait until TB buys a new server for HV. Or when he stops spending money on whores and ale.

It's working fine for me. Pages are loading normally with the usual exceptions caused by the Dev Chrome program that makes me click on some things twice to load pages every once in a while.

It was nothing to do with STAT, and it went back to normal 5 minutes after those error codes.

Was probably something else for me since each page load took like 5-10 sec.

So I was wondering today why there are some hits where half the mob gets c.mana and there are some hits where none of the mob gets c.mana. Well, I figured out the mechanics today... target ether theft if you want channeling and don't target ether theft if you want c.mana... yep... that was late.

HV already has its own server, and it's barely loaded.
Some connection problems are caused by the old forum server dropping connections. Should be fixed when the new one goes live. Outside of that, most failures seem to be caused by people holding down attack buttons. You could just not do that, but 0.5 has a safety to prevent it.
