While on the topic of shit drops, should I just drop everything except superior and up into the forge or do I need to actually learn all the different stats and whatnot because a fine power armour of something can be worth a few thousand credits?

just because something is only Fine doesn't make it junk. Fine 2 PA phase with max damage can still be better then higher quality stuff with bad stats. same can go for power/slaughter and other stuff

That would kill the WTS forum, and I don't think that's something Tenb is wishing for.
That being said, I would really love to have a simple way to display non-scaled stats on equipment, and not a browser dependent one.

here are some old things I use to use that are only Fine
Fine Phase Cap of Fenrir
Fine Power Helmet of Slaughter
Fine Power Helmet of Slaughter
Fine Power Leggings of Slaughter

I'm saving everything above average right now, but it's getting to be a huge mess and opening a shop is a ton of work to copy and paste all links with names and whatever. With bindings selling for many thousands, I thought about salvaging since 100c from the bazaar for an item is such a rip-off.

lolzerz: Generally, you can sell(salvage tier 1 exq+) to the bazaar since time taken to sell to players isn't worth the effort. But a strong Average phase or Fine estoc can handily beat most respective exquisites, and right suffixes and prefixes such as heimdall, ethereal, etc can increase value by a lot. I personally bazaar ethereal shortswords just in case somebody wants them - though they may be worth something now as offhand weapon to axe for bleed...second tier to daggers tho. This doesn't really apply to stuff like heavy,staves and light armor, which need many PABs and high rolls, not sth you'll find on low quality items.

You won't get bindings from salvaging unless you used bindings to forge said item already.

Nah, PL 25s work just fine and are cheap to make. You won't get what you want, but you get a guaranteed gift every 50 hours (assuming you check, anyway). I tend to check mine daily.

I've got a PL 202 and 3 PL 25s, there's really very little gift difference between then (the 202 doesn't win consistently enough to really up his gifts).


Regarding salvaging, I don't bother salvaging Fines. Too likely to get nothing for my taste, and low grades are effectively worthless for real forging even if you do get something. Superior+ T1 gets salvaged, I sell any T2/T3 I don't intend to list in a shop or use to the bazaar.

Well chaos tokens and crystals for the first 100-200 levels are rather cheap and easy to come by (you can't buy tokens but they drop commonly enough) I'm sure I've gotten at least 5 bindings of nifhelm in this month alone with my 6-monster army (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Think I've used up all my luck with the slaughter + destruction double gift followed by a phazon a day later (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Tbh, the more I forge my equipments the more I find out how impossible it is to do IWBTH (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I now possess 1 legendary holy stick, 2 legendary max phase and 2 acceptable mag phases, scoring over 45.5k in holyscore.

And I still can't do IWBTH, even with great stamina (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

For mages, I think having a high level helps a lot as well. Because tbh, forging defensive stats on phase suck balls. The extra stats from the attributes really help, I think...

You must be doing something wrong, cos your equips look better than mine and you have much lower level.
(Level is harmful as it brings little player PMI but tons monster MMI)

Nothing is answering on port 8080 anymore.
If you try port 80, you get a login page for a DSL router served by micro_httpd, according to it, anyway.
