It might just be LoD, but I usually pick up several thousand Godlies and only a few hundred Superiors.

Also, I think for regular potion stuff at least, Difficulty and Level are what matter. If LoD plays a part, it's probably a small part.

5 levels is definitely not enough to get you 75%-80% Godly Potion drops, so no.

Hitokiri has 21(?, unsure if he still does have 21) LotD, which has cost him something around 10 million credits (right?), so that is mostly what you have to have to get that high of Godly potion drops...combined with the fact that he probably has Scavenger really high adds to that.

well that's wrong. if you want more drops then train scavenger, if you want to get fewer Lesser/Average/Greater don't play on the lower difficulties and lower quality equipment.

Correct, except I've been doing almost nothing but normal arenas for a week, and I still get a high percentage of godlies, so LotD probably has more of an impact on item quality than you realize. Frequency-wise, yes, you need Scavenger to be pretty high. I'm getting an item drop rate of 8.79% with my Scavenger at 37.
