Prices on some major trainings were lowered significantly. Think about it this way: if you didn't invest too much into trainings, and profited from having the credit perks for quite some time, not only do you keep all that you made but you're refunded the hath as well. At least that's the case for me.

Tokenizer II 52.5M Tokenizer III 87.5M is that really worth it? more maybe perks would maybe help more. Hath Perk Postage Paid Activated! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

After grinding the crap out of HV for 10 days, Luckily I've already obtained the rainbow aura on the same day the credits nerf patch rolled out.
Without original grindfest I don't think I would be able to gain credit fast anymore.

QUOTE(varst @ Dec 18 2012, 07:51) There's like...10-15 auctions per week. And those can be easily filtered when searching 'auction'. So... And that's why I'm suggesting people to use more/better tags for their WTS/WTB titles. A clearly-marked tag system can ease the whole searching process. Unfortunately people don't like extra work. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I get that it's not a big issue but with proper sections it would be no issue at all. With identically or similar pricing, the WTB thread that's on the first page has a better chance to catch the attention of sellers. And people will bump it to be on the first page because of that, no matter what rules you make up. We could have 30 threads on the first page of each section (compared to the 30 we have now for everything) and make being on the first page a lot less competitive. In my opinion that's the way to go. I don't see how having overly complicated single threads could solve anything. I'm sure many people wouldn't even bother with them at all, unless you intend to delete the threads of people who don't want to play along and that just can't end well.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I am very skeptical of Tokenizer II and III. Assuming normal token drop rate is 0.2%, Token I increases it to 0.4%, II is 0.6%, and II is 0.8%. Calculating the percentage to hath cost ratio, the marginal benefit is only 22% increase from II to III, compared to 45%, from I to II. There is always Lost Paradise perk, if you havent maxed it.

There's still no incentive to separate them. Why letting the same guy to open 4 threads in different sub-forum and let him bump them daily, which works pretty much like a variation of spamhaus? And I HAD NOT, DO NOT, AND WILL NOT delete threads unless the thread owner change the title to [deleted]. My suggestion is so not to crumple that particular thread so people will have to search through inactive-yet-still-in-first-page posts, unlike the current format which those inactive threads won't show as per forum setting. I have stated this clear enough.

QUOTE(Coma @ Dec 14 2012, 14:36) Why not just Silence her instead?
I don't have Silence, mainly because I'm not sure how effective it may be. 31 3 chilly sorbet hits you for 11594 soul damage. 31 2 Sugar Winter casts chilly sorbet 31 1 Sugar Winter parries your attack. Yeah, Weaken is barely keeping me out of instakill territory on IWBTH (At least in Twilight, but I'm not sure if the mobs get a bonus modifier there). Also got surprised by the pleasant surprise of the duration of Health potions having been increased significantly. This post has been edited by tentacle-man61: Dec 18 2012, 22:30

Weaken barely keep you from instankill, but Silence will keep you completely out of instakill territory, especially on IWBTH. Unless your Health happens to be more or less equal to IWBTH FSM's attack damage This post has been edited by Coma: Dec 18 2012, 22:33

HA, I'm no hath freak. I've got the first damage perk and may pickup the 2nd but there are other things I would like to get first. I need all those karma perks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(varst @ Dec 18 2012, 21:23) There's still no incentive to separate them.
The incentive for me as seller would be that when I want to sell Hath, I can go to Hath subsection and quickly see who's buying and where the best price is. I don't have to check the 4-5 pages of regular WTB, which is a confusing mix of everything, possibly even missing the best thread. QUOTE Why letting the same guy to open 4 threads in different sub-forum and let him bump them daily, which works pretty much like a variation of spamhaus? People are doing just that right now. I didn't suggest that you were deleting threads. I only said that your idea of will fall short unless you delete the threads of people who don't comply. I don't get why you're so defensive about it. Anyway, nothing of this is going to be implemented so fuck it.

Sorry about being defensive. But it hurts when you get the idea from IRC (original suggestion is to make separate hath/ED/artifacts thread. That's it.), refuse that at first for its difficulty to implement, then try to make that work by observing previous problems from the last general market thread, only to have people concerning about the 'deletion' part. You should ask Tenb to see if he's going to implement your idea. The incentive is for him. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Tiap's Monster Lab script is pretty much the fastest we have atm. Greasemonkey is not good and abit slow in fixing bugs, try Scriptish

Well IWBTH is now easier than battletoads before, so I actually level up faster now. I guess it's also easier to get more credits from arenas. Why did people play grindfest for credits before anyways.
