QUOTE(Tiap @ Dec 7 2012, 21:55) It's just a silly little contest, there's really no point in getting upset over it
Nothing's more important than futile stuff. And, BTW, fugly banners sap my will to browse HV.

I hope not, Sushi almost quit after maxing out the forge and is currently left with no other goals

Happens to all higher levels. At some points you have done everything on the highest settings. At this point you play just because.

Truth be told, I know it's not. It's so low because of Da Boss' decision to decimate forge experience a bit ago for well-known reasons. Tiap was about level 2, same as me back then. And we both got back to level 0.

it doesn't take much to gain a few levels in the forge.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Dec 4 2012, 17:44) It is getting nerfed. Kinda. You'll get less credits but more stuff.
I just wonder what kind of stuff? The more I level my trainings, the more my battle drops sucks. I haven't got a decent one for almost 4 weeks even if I have raised LotD from 17 to 21? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) So the only way to upgrade my equipment is to buy some good pieces. If we get even less credits, then I wonder how the players will be able to afford something. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

By selling existing equipment and using the money to buy new ones, of course. EDIT: And draining RoB first clear newbies. Though honestly I don't do GF anyway.

Yes, when gf and arenas give 0 credits per round the old money will still go round and round to buy staves at multi-million prices.

Since some patches ago selling equipment in the bazaar don't bring as much credits. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) So selling equipment for 20c-500c per piece don't bring you very much. And only good stuff brings you credits if you have a shop in WTS. If you need millions to buy some better stuff or do some training, it takes weeks to gather enough. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

The point I was making that when you buy equipment don't buy it for more than it's worth, so you can resell it when you're done. This way the credits keep circulating (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Yeah, currently I'm looking at average of 50c per equip. Still a nice extra but by no means major source.

If only, but there's things like trainings to blow credits on so eventually the money in circulation will be dried up. And that's when hopefully the hath to credit ratio will decrease (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

QUOTE Yes, when gf and arenas give 0 credits per round the old money will still go round and round to buy staves at multi-million prices. The old GF had a cap of 3000c after that you only got 1c a round. Sounds bad but back then you made most of your credits by selling items/equipment to the bazaar. That is also when the credits perks & training made a big difference in how much you could get. QUOTE(Hoheneim @ Dec 9 2012, 10:35) You know full well that's not the point.
Mine was level 17 back then and it doesn't take much to gain a few levels then or now even if you lost a few levels of forge exp then.

Allow me to rephrase: that has nothing to do with what I was saying. It doesn't matter in the least how fast you get back something you shouldn't have lost in the first place. Who cares about the time needed when your credit investment was thrown in the trash can.

that's nothing when you compare it to how much is needed for hath perks that later patches make almost pointless.
