At least three winners will be selected out of all the banners by a panel of staff. However, if your banner sucks ass, even if we need 3, oh well.

Either 3 or 5 banners will be chosen, and will be rotated with frequency determined by placing.

Eh, I'm not too sure how many active users this site has but is it really that difficult to imagine? The cost of adopting a couple slots is not prohibitive if you have a job.

And that's exactly why I stopped entering the contest. You shoulda seen the last entry attempt I had. Apparently 7 banners (at least) were better than mine (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (ie mine didn't place at all despite it being one of the few banners I actually made + thought hmmm this wasn't an absolutely crappy job!)
