Why is it whenever i accidently do an hourly on hard instead of BT or IWBTH THAT is the hourly i get a phase or power armor drop? and of course, it's crude or fair.

I know that feel. I can barely do IWBTH it's mostly luck that I can skate by and win. I'm quite vulnerable to being oneshotted by some mob specials, even at full HP!

I have since received about 10 Superior Tier 1 Equips that are worthless and have 2 mediocre PABs

That's not recent, it's been the most useful of the four elements since the introduction of monster lab due to dragonkins and giants being weak to wind.

And I prefer Elec+Fire when not using Holy+Dark.

Elec was the mainstream element everyone went to probably because it was the "awesome element" everyone used prior to monster lab (I think it was the element with the least monsters resistant to it - only Mantra?) and they had the suit still handy when monster lab came in. When the new phase came in they probably didn't bother with swapping elements and just upgraded their mjol suits.

Come Monster Lab, (if memory serves correct) Elec didn't suffer from 75 resist lab monsters other than Undeads whereas wind suffered from Beasts+Undeads. Naturally the short sighted players saw this as a reason to go with Elec. (what they didn't realize was it's the 50+ resists that matter, not just the 75 resists)

Naturally the Elec stuff value shot up and wind stayed cheap. Thus, Wind was the second fiddle that no one really took notice of and the one's in the know bought them up cheaply. However as players learned, they realized Wind was just as good/better in some ways(and of course worse in others)

tl;dr players got smarter

edit: or maybe are just as dumb as before and are still playing sheep. naturally they would have fallen for some sort of propaganda involving the "awesomeness of wind" then.

Because the Auras for mage also provided Elec mit which gave a nice Bonus to the Damage.

Rating system. Good times.

I liked dealing 500 damage tops at level 80.
