Just people that don't know partial differential equations and Fourier transforms, which is Cal II IIRC. Maybe Cal III for partial differential equations.

I guess I could model it on the heat equation just to make it relatively simple.

But, I'd rather you code new stuff than trying to upgrade the difficulty of the mathematics behind the scenes.

Now you're getting the right idea. Graduate level math for the clicky game on a porn site! Time-decaying stat distribution FTW. Hahaha, you could seriously implement a quasi 1D heat equation to simulate fatigue or entropy of equipment and require people to continually repair them to keep the stats up.

I guess you are right. I was thinking of Fourier series, which is definitely covered in Calculus. Fourier/Laplace transforms are more beginner level differential equations.

There's nothing particularly complicated about the math used in HV, just the methods used for some stat calculations. Everything can be done with high school level math (up to Calculus I.)

I haven't done so much as a quadratic equation (which I don't even remember how to do now) since 10th grade.
That was 6 years ago.

I've also not spoken German after 11th grade and I can barely string together a sentence after 5 years.

Dealing with money, I've remembered almost all the mathematics required for price per unit and the like. Stuff with matrices and the like, not so much. I'm more of a word person.

HV battle track had to go offline whilst I was in an arena with only a few rounds to go. AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!

At least you didn't get an error of doom (completed battle and no exp/credits/items registered).

Ya never know, I might get screwed out of what I had earned so far. Some crystals, scrolls and a few pieces of equipment.
