But why 880 turns? o_o FSM only takes me 300 turns on IWBTH with Club & Rapier, I just need to use Frenzied Blows 7 times, and the 7th time barely hits it once or twice before it dies.

Yes I used spirit stance and thought I had brought two spirit potions but I had only one so the end got pretty dicey.

I could already do it at level 230+.... And it takes me only about 400 turns...
Are you using the PA, Max OC, SS, Cleave, Off SS, repeat strategy?

As I believe I said in my post I used the estoc and power armor set in my signature. My strategy wasn't especially refined. I cast weaken and poison on FSM and haste, Spirit shield, regeneration, protection and heartseeker on myself. I used 3 infusions on divinity also. I didn't use Cleave. I just whacked away in spirit stance and when I noticed I lacked a spirit potion I used OFC. As I said it was only my first try on IWBTH having only fought FSM once before on normal.

Bad strategy is bad.

Just silence FSM. For your buffs, you only need haste and protection. Weaken FSM if he hits too hard.

And use Great Cleave. It's gonna be around 200k damage every 10 turns, much more than you can dish out with spirit stance.

when IWBTH was first added it could take 10,000 turns to kill FSM.

To further expand on that question: is Regen II enough to heal up the hits from it? I assume not, else you wouldn't be needing spirit shield; or is that just for the crits?
And to me the most important question in that, how do you keep up mana, is IA needed to reduce the upkeep or will the natural regen eventually be enough? Focus? Pots will help for sure, but if you need pots at all, I somehow doubt they'd last for 10k rounds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
