Only Tenb can tell if this rate would be to low, OK or lol never gonna happen good.

I would just go for XX loot a day depending on Powerlevel, Affection and whatever Monster Lab Part 2 has to offer.
If you have a formula you can clearly tell if it will be worth a upgrade.

Last night I lost two relatively long arenas on IWBTH in a row, both during the last round, with the last monster alive being Eila with barely any HP left. Both times she used her (agitated) Spirit Attack for about a billion HP, and both times Spirit Shield failed because not even 100+ SP can keep you safe anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) It is annoying.


On an unrelated note, isn't this pathetic?

If the monsters could be upgraded to legendary, perhaps an acceptable trade-off for a reduced spawn-rate would be a greatly increased chance to return 'better' materials. Could even 'flip' the way the odds are set up now. That is to say, the odds of returning a "low-grade xx" as a non-legendary monster, are now the odds of returning a "high-grade xx" or more valuable binding/etc.

Might also be worth considering the inclusion of a 1-5% chance of returning an energy drink, artifact, or package of crystals.

To add in a little fun, could also have a .1% (1/1000) chance to return a different type of reward, the game saying something along the lines of "AnythingNamedOuzaiIsADouche has brought back knowledge. . . " and reward the player with half a level's worth of experience. Of course the coding would have to be written a certain way to even be able to tie that stuff together.. P.S. Too many mobs with the name Ouzai in the prefix. Especially considering 'Ouzai' is Arabic and from the Middle East and not Japan or anywhere that produces the type of material this site traffics in.

Agreed. Whereas before I could at least make a comparable amount from selling junk gear acquired in dailies/IW/etc., now it seems the only real income to be made is from the arena bonus, wts forum, or selling to the item world bot at 50% value. Any chance of upgrading that to 75-85%? Still takes credits out of the system and penalizes those that don't take the time to sell on the wts forum. It would also encourage more people to sell to the item shop, thereby getting the items to those that want them faster.
