That's not entirely true. The number of upgrades doesn't directly affect the EXP gained, but rather the quality of the materials required for the upgrade is what determines it. It just so happens that the more you upgrade, the higher the quality of the required materials becomes.

Also, rare mats and binding have no influence on EXP gained. Just the quality prefix of the equip and the grade(s) of the 5 cloth/leather/metal/wood used.

I hate that maths, especially when it involves burning materials (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

So it's..

50*(50+1)/2*20*5 = 127500 LG materials
50*(50+1)/2*20 = 25500 bindings

cheapest bindings: 25500*1000C = 25.5 M
LG cloth: 127500*132C = 16.83 M
total of 42.33 M

I thought the opposite. Have been getting a ton of artifacts lately. Even managed to get 2 from one arena (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Actually got an OK upgrade finally, Fine Power Helmet of Protection a little less mitigation than i had, but makes up for it with ADB and actually, less burden.

Edit: This marks the end of a string of crudes, woohoo!

It wasn't forged, could have been item-worlded. It's already all gone now, but it looked like there were a fair number of unexceptional items over level 405.

I got loads right after the patch, but back to nill again. I think he uses a seeded generator, and rolls his face on the keyboard every night to reset the seed.

Yes, every night I secretly turn down player hit/cast chance and increase monster damage. If it's a full moon out, I also drop the loot drop chance and quality. Before long you won't be able to hit anything, and the monsters you won't be able to kill will be dropping pieces of lint.
