Fact is tenb should rethink these weapons.
How is now it would be a nice extra add like Ethereal Vampire Estoc of Slaughter but as stand alone it is no good.

The chances of hitting multiple mobs and proccing drain wouldn't be too high though...

And if it was too high, the amount drained could alway be made to lower for every mob (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Not if there are fancy Forge Features to make use of old gears.

But personally I would prefer to beef them up. Proc more often or even place a Leech Effect on the enemy with a duration of 2-3 turns.
There would be many ways to make something worthless into something slightly useful.

How about lower drain for Monsters hit by Domino Strike? If they are far away you will drain less.

On topic. Didn't Tenb forget to update the Vampire suffix after the HP buff? He doubled our HP, but the leech effect stayed the same? Am I the only one who's disappointed by this? HP leech was the worst of the 3 before, and now it got even worse. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

When these things where new I was happy to find a ethereal Vampire Mace but then I tested it and was a sad Ichy.

For the siphon weapons, Tenboro should just add a flat increase to all their proc chances (retroactively). They should be a minimum of 35%.

I think it's probably good if it's a 2-3 turn thing. Kinda like ET, but much weaker.

Individuals can be smart, but people in general are stupid, so I wouldn't count on it. It's great if you still want to help, but you will realize the futility of it sooner or later. There will always be someone to take up after you when you quit.
