and

Fine Astral Scythe of Slaughter

don't think one is really much better than the other. that exq ons is nice, too bad it's lower level. what matters most IMO is the damage your bleed does over *one cycle* (damage per turn * number of pulses)

Despite his paranoia, he's actually one of the more interesting people I've talked to. Maybe I should share one of the quips between us but it's probably best if I refrain from doing so. try em both, but i'd say the astral one will be better, especially after sharding.

I was playing w/ bleed yesterday, definitely faster than estoc on normal. W/ our new HP calculations, easier to tank hits; w/ high attack and bleed %, will finish off anything that is low hp that didn't die right away, w/o having to target it again. PA is redundant if stuff is going to die in 1 or 2 hits. 29xx base damage, +29% bleed + heartseeker was something like 11xx bleed/tick.

Of course this is sub-200, might be slightly different for you higher lvls.

It must be that I have an estoc that's too good, but I see a very noticeable drop in killing speed.

With that said, I did not use any skills, just spirit stance, so maybe skills can help. But I still think estoc is better due to its simpler play style.

Not to mention I have 2 pretty epic estocs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Just checking, but if I use multiple shards on one item the time will stack, right?

And then I'm definitely gonna need an estoc with an element.. mace is just unbearable against legendaries. Cutoms are so easy compared to that.. just start off with OFC. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

So.. does anyone have a decent elemental estoc I could borrow for tomorrow? Please. xD

how fast do you kill with estoc? most 700+ PL monsters die in 1 hit to me if i have spirit stance on. with estoc, i doubt i'd kill them in 1 hit. otherwise PA would be pretty unnecessary. if they don't die in 1 or 2 hits, you're doing the bleed wrong.

Cause I hit max speed with haste like 20 levels ago.
