I hate it when players place high bid to scare off bidders so he can get items with minimum bid (even if players bid for 16~20k, he only has to pay the second highest bid plus 1 credit)

- If the item was sold by a player, bids by the same player are excluded from the calculations.

It's not trolling, it's gaining better donations for the moogle war veterans.

1) Set bid at 998c
2) Sell 1,000 crystals
3) Immediately cancel your bid
4) Mischief managed

Great idea to troll any massive overbidding, not just crystals.

Can you set bid to higher than what's in your account? I'm guessing they are just setting the bid price way above their current # of credits, and then when you try to troll them the system just says they don't have enough credits...

It should just take what they have and not give the item to punish them.

I thought it was bad as well since some people bid absurd prices on a few items. I can get better deals from the WTS section. 210k for ED while over 101k for a noodle?

You forgot that Tenb runs two hentai sites, the only three reasons people donating are: playing HV, viewing hentai porn, and do both

If anything, players leaving means that they now have to find new source of credits to download porn (a.k.a. upload new galleries), which to Tenb, is a business well managed.

I wanted to quit since last patch when Lisi can one-shot me with her 9000 damage, but I stayed because I need porn. And now I am staying in this patch because, damn it, I need more credit to buy Hath Perks

Yeah, it sucks for those who have credit perks since the Item Shop Bot eliminates the need to buy them at the Bazaar cheap. Since then I haven't even seen a single crystal there. People sure like to troll certain items like ED, Noodly Appendage, and artifacts.

i kinda feel sorry for people with the penny pincher perks.
