I thought that when Tenboro said he's done that he meant miwabe was banned from the site..

I remember when we didn't have IWs with their gigantic XP bonuses. And smaller multipliers for the difficulties. Back in that day, we power-leveled with arenas and Grinding. And we didn't have a million high-leveled people to give us stuff and advice. You newbies have it easy.

Totally. I prefer the days of no massive IW EXP and grinding on Arenas.

Funny how the timing on that worked out. He was placed on a watch list a couple of weeks ago, and he just triggered the anti-cheating mechanism ten minutes ago. Soo, he's done.

Another one bites the dust.

No tree, no rewards, no new title, and no chance Tenboro will take the time to change any of that.

Oh, and to clarify, it's not like I am blaming you for that or anything. Why spend the time to code all that for one person? Personally I think you should just place a hard cap at 300 and make a new awesome, and final, Title to go with it.

This is miwabe (obviously). I figured I might as well post here as well as send a PM.

The only thing that I did that could have caused this was to manually hold down the alt and 1 keys, casting frost spikes, while doing a flimsy cake world. This was only done for the purpose of raising proficiencies.

The speed leveling was done through a constant use of infusions and scrolls to quickly clear battletoads exquisite item worlds.

The only userscript I have ever used is HV STAT. I currently only play on Chrome.

Obviously, this dupe account can be deleted if the original account is restored. As far as I can tell, equipment and credits have not been deleted. I cannot login to my account for the forums.

Hmm...I, for one, tend to believe his story. He was one to buy lots of infusions, so I highly doubt that he would cheat in this game....and I don't think that his holding down the alt and 1 keys while casting frost spikes for the purpose of raising proficiencies was worth banning his account....it doesn't seem like he did anything wrong....

Yeah, I was just saying my opinion. I'm not saying that Tenboro is wrong, I was just putting my opinion on the matter out there. If Tenboro wants him to stay banned, then so be it. I just wanted to weigh in on the situation with my own opinion.

Firefox or Chrome? If Chrome, try setting frost spikes to the first slot, go into an item world with enough absorption that you won't take damage, hold alt, then hold 1, then start watching some television or something, because this is exactly what I did. Now, if you think this is ban-worthy cheating, then so be it. All I can tell you is today is the first time I tried that, and now I'm banned.

To be fair, I haven't been trying to level since 280. I do most arenas on normal just to get the credits, and I've finished all 10 daily item worlds only a couple times in the past several weeks, and only on Heroic when I've done it. I would have been past 300 a month ago if I spent the entire day playing BT IW, like miwabe, but there's just no point. There's nothing there except another copy and paste arena. No tree, no rewards, no new title, and no chance Tenboro will take the time to change any of that.

True, but TB is probably planning something big for the next patch based on the hints he has given us. Whether it's just related to unique trophies or trophies in general, something is going to change and let's hope that it's not another nerf yet again. There is a very high chance the next tree is either at 300 or before it. Since the last one is currently at 280, I suspect the next one is either 280 or 300 so you can expect new skills next patch, assuming TB is working on them of course. That's quite unfortunate. He's actually very helpful and detailed when responding to questions and never hesitated to answer anything. He was quite knowledgeable of the game and his leveling speed seemed to be a result of that knowledge. Let's hope the anti-cheating mechanism caught a fluke but if it really is true, then HV just lost someone great today. I actually admired him for leveling so fast despite not having any of the EXP bonuses.

On a related note, have you checked on the two people that I've sent you a PM about around a month ago? Their leveling rate was very suspicious at the time and they've toned down a lot lately so I was just wondering how your investigation was going.

I actually believe your story. Based on the PMs and discussions we've had with each other, you seem to know what you're doing and your leveling rate reflects that. Of all the people I've talked to in PM's (not many), you were one of two that I actually enjoyed having intellectual discussions with regarding system calculations, the other one being Conquest. I was just about to ask you to borrow your freyr cap that you bought from thanos for testing purposes too, talk about a case of extremely bad timing.

You said you did it with R, not alt + 1. And while I do understand any skepticism anyone might have, this has absolutely nothing to do with leveling up quickly. It could be considered taking advantage of the system to raise proficiencies, but plenty of us took advantage of the legendary arena's to make credits before the trophy revamps.

Obviously, none of this can be resolved until Tenboro comes back online, but if anybody doesn't believe me, do what I described (holding alt and 1 in Chrome and looking away) and see what happens.

Holding alt + num has the same exact effect as clicking a quickcast and holding R, only I don't have to strain my thumb by holding it in an awkward position.
