that still can grind normal can be counted on one hand.

but ya, It sucks that the game has become more or less you have to play it this way with this gear if you want to do this that or some other thing.

It was more fun when you could use Elementalist gear and do good damage with all element spells or you could pick just one element and go with that. I use to love soul damage and used if for a very long time and like you used it for schoolgirls. I don't hear anyone talking about soul spells anymore.

Now every patch changes what works and what is crap. We go from soul weapons to void to maces then bleed now Estoc. In a few patches its going to be naked combat with fists vs dicks.

The sad part is the system now encourages Normal farming, because that's the only reliable way to acquire lots of Chaos Tokens.

i forgot can you get tokens in a CF. I wound't mind doing a GF from time to time but the stamina used is a joke. That just leaves IW. I should try doing a normal IW in a Flimsy item vs Legendary tier 3 item.

Hehehe, good idea. But I don't have any left. I had a couple hundred Chaos Tokens and was watching TV and clicking on the upgrades for Skwisgaar without paying attention to what I was doing. Apparently, we can't take tokens out once they're in.

So I was wandering around backstage today, and I saw Tenboro plugged into a wall outlet and sipping oil, and I realized, "Tenboro is a bot."

The security guys saw me, and what they told me was that the real Tenboro, who exists somewhere, is not a bot, but has robotic duplicates to help him with all the work he has to do. They also said he was a pony.

As I was walking home, I saw a guy suddenly freeze up and fall over sideways. Some passersby ctrl-alt-deleted him and got him back on his feet.

I buffed the scratches out of my skin and sat down at the computer for the night. My cat came up to me, and I noticed that she had less heat signature than before. I asked her if she needed anything, and she said she wanted me to buy some crystals of vigor and mail them to her character.

I have this odd feeling like I'm trying to notice something.



...but it's all a non-sequitur, now that Tenboro has pushed the patch to distract everyone from the bots' big push for world domination. In a couple more days, they'll have the keys to the Orbital Friendship Cannons, which we were told were to protect the Earth from threats from space, but which are instead aimed squarely at us. (Silly unit. We had them from day one.)

I should bring my Cold EDB Phases to level for a bit more EDB. They are still something level 35x ish where I said fuck you to mageing and went full melee.

Oh, and no wonder I blew all my tokens in the upgrades so fast. It takes 5, 6 or 7 Chaos Tokens per notch? Unless it increases as you go higher, I truly wasn't paying attention. I was all tra-la-la, clickety click click. Shit!

+1 the damage is unsustainable right now for mage and i have 243 dark edb or i missed something ...

Well I can still one-shot pretty well (about ~50%) on normal with normal status with 239.3 Wind, so it's still pretty good for farming. I still have two pieces that can be increased by 30 levels too, plus I still have a ways to go with my staff. What does elemental proficiency do now? That's really the only massive difference I can see.

But yeah, maging blows for any high difficulty now, except for the legendary marathons. Not because the offensive magic is too weak, but because the damage mitigation/avoidance is atrocious.
