The damage bonus doesn't get kept between each item, but gets reset every time you enter a new IW.

That's why it doesn't really make sense, to me at least. You already have the number of rounds as a hard cap, why the damage increase anyway?

I've asked for this after every monster boost in every patch, and it hasn't happened. Maybe it shouldn't be removed completely, but with the massive damage monsters can dish out now even on Normal without its help, the scaling definitely needs to be adjusted.

This. Spelunker was only good when we was limited by the number of IWs we can d a day and a limit to GF.

Equipment drops are now going under PAB roulette to determine if a piece of equipment has PABs or not. Ranges from 0-4 so far. Since the animal suffixes are gone, we have to see if our equipment drops will get any PAB at all. More is better but only on equipment that we want to have.

They already deal enough damage as is, and after about 100 rounds, 150% damage from mob hits is tough to deal with @_@


at one time the deeper you went into a run the better loot you could get. Monsters hitting harder wasn't a problem then because a good mage could clear normal/hard with tier 1 spells or BT with a tier 1 + tier 3 or sometimes just a tier 3.

Its been a very long time since you could come close to that. The best I ever did was +12k rounds in a hard GF but I did that over a few days. So in that time I wasn't able to do any Arenas, RoB or IW. It worked better to just grind a few 1000 rounds then stop. At that time you also only got 1 credit a round after a point.

Now with stamina and all that BS if you want to grind the only thing left is CF, and if you want to do that its normal or BT. For both you need very good gear to do it fast.

If I do IW its normal/hard or BT-IWBTH. It depends on how many levels something needs and how much time I have or how much someone is paying me to do it. Clearing 10-20 IW on normal works just as well as doing fewer items on IWBTH, it just depends on what you want to get out of it. If you only have a few items to level doing the same item twice a day for +20 is rather nice but if you have a ton of stuff you want to level and it doesn't need very many levels going them on normal (with normal stamina) works because you'll be clearing more rounds. More rounds is more drops, more artifacts....

If you wanted to level fast finding an Exquisite and playing BT-IW was the best way of doing that. Monsters did less damage then GF and EXP from IW depends on the quality of the item being used. Again the deeper you went the better loot you could get. That's why when we were 200-250 we had items we could use for IW that were 300-450.

With all these changes to IW and damage nerfs to mages its become a pain to do IW fast. And I think all the damage/HP changes have been there because tenb doesn't like people to grind normal.

How about a 'scan a random monster topic'?
That way we'd pretty much create a database of monsters and their owners. So if you wanted to know the owner you'd have to simply search for the monster in that topic.

The icons look normal.

That happens every time to me too. But it's only for like a second while the page loads so I don't really care.

It stays like that for me the entire time until I either unclick it or the overcharge drains. It's a bit bothersome and I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing it.

that still can grind normal can be counted on one hand.

but ya, It sucks that the game has become more or less you have to play it this way with this gear if you want to do this that or some other thing.

It was more fun when you could use Elementalist gear and do good damage with all element spells or you could pick just one element and go with that. I use to love soul damage and used if for a very long time and like you used it for schoolgirls. I don't hear anyone talking about soul spells anymore.

Now every patch changes what works and what is crap. We go from soul weapons to void to maces then bleed now Estoc. In a few patches its going to be naked combat with fists vs dicks.
