I'm not, but I also don't have much time for anything besides RL and updating the wiki right now... Not really worth playing ATM cause I don't have gear I enjoy playing in and its doubtful that I will ever be able to get gear at the level I want and would enjoy, and even if I did the next patch would take it away (wouldn't make me mad cause I'd still have accomplished a goal).

Some thoughts from me about the patch, if you don't mind. I've posted it in patch thread, but I feel the urge to post it here too. Maybe just to show off. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

So, what can I say about the new patch after some testing. One word: ASS. I don't like to complain, but that's just a clusterfuck.

1. Going through last levels of T&T on BT now is like dodging trucks on a speedway. But don't worry, guys, it's just a beginning. Wait till most part of the players will max out their monsters with Chaos Tokens - then we'll all be fucked. The most funny thing: when people upgrade their monsters - their digging their own graves.

2. New PAB counting system is the biggest trollfest I've ever seen here. At least before we've had crappy equipment types and good equipment types. Now we have crappy equipment types and mostly possible crappy equipment types. Also... T&T on BT -> Superior Gossamer Robe of the Priestess without PAB's. Considering the fact I've mentioned in "1" - that's just mockery. And if somebody think LotD will help you - check this out:

WTF. How in the hell do you get an Average drop on IWBTH, with max LotD, on round 100, with a God? Actually, I'm shocked it even has both INT and WIS.

So there is no logic in lowering the dificulty, because you'll have even more crap then. Great... "Drop chance was doubled"? Uuh-huh... I didn't see that at all. And I have the feeling LotD bonus was halved to balance this useless boost. Even if it works - now we have twice more crap. And the bazaar prices was lowered, so we can't even get some decent money for selling it there. Fascinating.

3. Stun nerf. Thank you very much, T-Bro, using a mace against boosted monsters is like cutting the metal plate with a blunt knife now. You were right, Hito, you were goddamn right...

Overall: that's a big pile of trollfuck. I'm thinking about taking a little vacation, 'cause I don't like to work like a motherfuckin' farm ox and get crap in return.

I edited my post before yours and agreed. The old PABs should always be there, the other PABs should be the ones with chances and shouldn't have a bearing on the quality.

Also, all testing is going to suck now, or require the participation of monster owners lol

4 PAB but low block, I can see this working but without any ADB from shade most things are just going to be too slow.

Can we have a rare mid-suffix for armor (like ethereal for weapons) which would add an additional random bonus to something regardless of the armor type (cloth/light/heavy)? Even if the possibility will be twice more rare and the bonus will be twice less than usual ones - it still be worth just for fun and variety. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yeah Shade and Power equipment would definitely benefit from 4 PAB + ADB. I got a cotton that had no PAB at all and it was Fine grade.

damn I don't have any boots. I wanted to make a battlecaster set with Katana/Wakizashi since i started HV. and its always been once you get the gear for something the patch makes it crap.

just saw I had this Fine Wakizashi of the Battlecaster this is a new drop and it doesn't have any Magic Damage Bonus (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Well.....at least we're getting more monster gifts. Maybe the time so spend some on upgrades.
