I think most people misunderstand that 10 post bonus.
It is supposed to award people who join discussion in the forum, but instead it has become the reason those people spam on the forum with pointless posts.
And now people are complaining they can't spam the forum to get EXP bonus. Seriously, you think your EXP bonus is more important than those discussions? (IMG:[

I agree with you, but if you read my posts, a lot of the discussion are dead discussions, and most topics are filled with people looking to post only for the exp. I would love to have quality discussions, and getting rewarded for it along the way, but it's just not possible with dead topics/sections.
I go to the culture zone/gamer's section because that's what I want to talk about, only to find that all the last posts on the threads on the first page are from a week ago(mine included) and the only new posts are just from people looking to get their 10 posts. It's a broken system because this forum, imo, is kind of dead compared to other forums. I seen the same topics on the front page of some sections for months. The exp bonus should be a plus, but there is no point in talking to yourself in topics, so people just end up going for the exp. If I'm just going to end up talking to myself and getting the exp, then the spamhause was a better alternative. I'm all for quality chatter, but people need to realize that with a dead forum it's not as easy as it seems. I think removing the spamhause was just a way of forcing people to talk in other sections to make it more active, but it probably just made people spam elsewhere for their exp since that's what they're used to.
