Never mind that... I'm more curious about this: Why does it appear to be that once someone post about suspecting a bot, it seems to disappear as if it was shut down to hide? This kind of thing happen last time, too. Now I understand it's possible that the whole thing is just a chain of coincidence, but every pieces seem to fit so perfectly its difficult to see otherwise. On the other hand, the possibility for a clever user of such tool to use sophisticated way to hide its activity from a log check is not exactly small tbh...

Clearly, the bot has achieved self-awareness and is now constantly monitoring the thread.

Joke aside. Since you can't run such script while playing HV (i.e. battle) and given that it's likely for one to be quite acquainted with HV forums enough to knows the values of stuff and what's in demand, it's easy then to think that he could just run the script only/usually while browsing the forum. This is just a possibility though, not a claim.

Instead of accept it as just a coincidence, it make a lot of sense to suspect that there may be some kind of trickery with the dice when it rolls a six 100 times in a row. So, yeah...

I still believe such bot exists and indeed still kicking and probably with better way of hiding its activity now, since some of the thing happening there seems unreal for people to do... but it won't be so easy to look for or test now...

Well of course there are bots still kicking, i refuse to believe anyone could make a game this advanced without someone being able to make a more advanced bot.

... and the one who got most of them did it in between sending a Mooglemail and starting Adept Learner.

They do show up, but probably some inexperienced players buy them anyway. Unless they got the Penny Pincher perk, it's better to buy them in the WTS section.

I think the problem is that their drop rate is very low now. In the same amount of time it took me to get 4000 Godly Mana potions, I only got about 200 of each type of infusion. I also use Godly Mana a lot too, and never use some of the infusions. The lower end scrolls seem to be about the same, and the higher end scrolls even less. It's harder for me to tell on scrolls though since I generally sell or use them.

It's a good amount at least. Over 300k messages sent globally with a 10c min, plus an unknown amount of CoD charges. Well, unknown to all but one person.
