I tried those too. They were okay, but honestly, it doesn't feel as engaging as some of the other games I've played. Especially when you're running around decked with full enchanted crafted gear, doing crazy damage a hit lol.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas never really appealed to me. After a while, it feels like a glorified shooter, to a certain extent. And the story didn't have staying power, IMO. It didn't feel as epic and awesome as Half Life 2, for some reason.

That is one of the major problems of leveling too fast. now if you have 5 sets or more and every part in each set needed 50 or more levels, that would suck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It seems to me that hentaiverse is getting harder and becoming more of a pain as you get stronger and higher level...shouldn't it be the opposite? Seems like a broken game to me, I don't really see any incentive in lvling because all it's doing is taking me longer and harder to do everything the more I level.

Kinda annoying how the monster scales with your levels and every level I get weaker and weaker and it's harder to clear arenas on the same difficulty level...Before I was breezing past arenas with nintendo/hell and now I'm having a decently hard time with normal/hard/heroic and it's only been like 5-10 levels...System should definitely be fixed by now, I was playing hentaiverse a year or two ago and it seems it's a little better than before(where I just was getting raped on everything on normal worse and worse everytime I lvled) but it's still a discouraging game where getting higher level/better equips doesn't have that much incentive.

Harder? Doesn't look like it to me. If it was harder, we would be seeing more people getting loot from their monsters.

Ya I guess, when I got a new weapon I was destroying arenas on IWBTH/Battletoads(it was a huge upgrade), but 10 levels later with a even better weapon I'm having a hard time with normal/hard/heroic arenas(for the ones with 20-30+ rounds).

I can't really get anything significantly better and can't really afford to get a crazy weapon every 5 levels to keep up with the scaling monsters...and now every level it gets harder and harder. I dunno, I know I'm low level but hentaiverse has always been like this to me. You would think the higher levels/more attributes/better weapons/more abilities+rank would help but the scaling monsters just always are one step ahead of me. Must be doing something wrong.

but joking aside. you *do* know that at your level you're not supposed to comfortably go past heroic (if that), right? the game was designed so that low levels wouldn't be crushing IWBTH etc right off the bat. *that* would make being high level pointless. if you're struggling on high difficulties, then that means the game is operating as intended.

Really? Ohh it's just that I have always seen so many people grinding on IWBTH/Battletoads at any level so I assumed that's the norm and how everyone played the game. Guess my standards were too high (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

that's because players are greedy or stupid (usually it's a combination of both). IWBTH is basically your only way to get a legendary dropped (inb4 some dumbass says trophy). i don't think i entered heroic until i was level 100 or so because the lower difficulties give me the most exp payout/time and are most credit efficient.

iwbth will give you more exp/credits per round (duh) but aren't guaranteed to give you better rewards for your time/credits spent

edit: one exception to this would be the random encounters. if you can comfortably take those on in IWBTH, then by all means. but i'm curious how someone can do it without SoL since IWBTH still hits like a truck (ie waste of life scrolls at low levels)

I'd also question your ability to "destroy" IWBTH/BT at that level.

And its definitely not true that as you level up, its gets harder (although it could be more of a pain).

It's probably a result of the patch changes making you think its harder. The removal of absorption as a stat hurts much more at lower levels since just a few points makes a large difference while at higher levels, when mitigation increases and hp as well as monster damage increases, absorption didn't matter nearly as much.

The 2H change also seems to have hurt a lot of lower level melee players who relied on shatter strike clearing every other round.

Not true. Shatter was used to make mobs stunned at the start of every round, while using a full set of shade, you can get 10-15 turns before all the mobs wake up/dead. This in turn will fill up enough OC for you to repeat the process, thereby making you mostly untouchable.

Er no. There was no way that I could have gotten 10-15 turns with just haste at that level. Playing on a difficulty high enough to get 10-15 hits before they wake up and getting enough OC (considering accuracy and average amount of OC per hit) to shatter strike again the next round meant that every single mob was likely to kill you in a single hit since there's no SoL or SP Shield yet. Permashatter is for high level. Also, shade kinda sucks at low levels.
