I just got kicked from an arena in the middle of it. Specifically after finishing round 54 of To Kill a God. Anyone else got this problem? It didn't show a finish screen, just returned me back to the arena page.

Clearly it's because the high PL monsters are spawning a lot less, so the bad/careless people are just dying a lot less. Personally, I feel it could be counteracted some by disabling Flee after the first few rounds.

The lower win/kill plaque seem to have an effect across the board if you ask me... Low & High PL alike.

Just bring the old Monster lab: extreme steroid edition!! back, where monster can do up to 2x of the dmg you can do, and have shitload of HP ... Then just open your monster stats page and set it on auto-refresh, sit back, watch and enjoy the win/kill number skyrocketing!

The fun part is that I've been monitoring some of my monsters and they're slowly getting fewer and fewer wins.
Probably because of the gazillion lower level monsters continually being created.
It was ~7-12 per hour before the patch, then ~2.5-3, then ~2, now they're at ~1.5.

Hey! There's still ichy idea, wan't it!? ... Which from what I remember, can be summed up like this: "I want myself and my monster to be strong and kill more, and everyone else to suck shit, and their monster to have 1HP and doing nothing in battle" ... As absurd as this might sound, this idea actually works!

So you're blaming the system? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ... My monster got less kill across the board, from shit monster to the highest one I have, which is still shit (PL = ~370)


It's either: 1) People play less often 2) People die less often (because of the recent buff) ... I suspect no.2, but the combination of 1 and 2 is also possible.

I know that. It perhaps could be accounted for the loss of kill for the high-end monster due to the perceived 'not spawn often enough' (which I believe its effect isn't that large; I still see the same old face very often, Eila and her fake twin are the biggest culprit). However, that doesn't seem to explain the the sharp decline of win/kill for my couple of 2 digit PL Giants & Undeads ...

On the other hand, History have shown that a change to the balance of power between player and monster, with spawning mechanism unaltered, affect the rate of the win/kill rate, dramatically in some case.

Personally, I believe that even if the spawning mechanism is to be reverted to the way it work before, nothing will change much. They would still be nothing but a cannon fodder for us to massacre in (the now dwindling) hope of getting good, high-tier, and usable gear...

It would make more sense if you asked for an alter to the gift drop rate/mechanism IMO, since that have nothing to do with how shitty/powerful we are.



PS. To be clear, I'm not advocating for the change to the game play or the game difficulty at large, I just want to point out that asking for monster to kill more and for us to kill more as well is directly at odd and couldn't be accomplish in any legitimate way; unless you use ichy's idea...

there are also a ton more monsters then just a few months ago. if there are 3x the number of PL 250-400 as there were then each monster wont be in the same number of battles as it use to be. also if you level up a monster to where you want it then stop everyone else's monster that was lower in level then you will pass you and they they will have a higher chance to be in battles.

but since the last change all my +PL400's have been bringing me LG shit way to much, and i only check them once a day
