Easy for you to say. Try being a squishy wizard soloing Diablo on Inferno using only Hydra and Blizzard as your primary forms of offense while running away and dodging all his attacks, and if he catches you with cage, it's pretty much instant gg right there.

And that. Was more or less how Inferno was completed solo by a Wizard (first known completion on Inferno) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Actually I play on the US servers. But I don't think we can do it together either without a tank.

And dcherry, that was done because of a build which was hotfixed. It can be summed up as Spirit Shield + Regen V

That's pretty much the only way to do it as a wizard, hence I'm trying it. No point in using a strategy that doesn't work. I guess you didn't read the part where he died countless times attempting it and that his clear was pretty lucky at the end.

You sure about that, skillchip? I was given the impression the guy was just dodging everything and when he was hit he died. Hence why he died 100's of times as Sushi pointed out.

Nah, hardcore is pretty retarded if you're doing it solo, it's only viable if you're playing with a group of people that knows what they are doing, such as this.

Obviously I've died countless times before so I gave up on trying it solo and made some alt characters to try out different classes. If I get a good group going I don't mind trying it again. Also pub groups = fail so no point in trying that.

Well from what I read some wizards were using Power Armor and Force Armor to reduce all damage taken to 35% of their max life, running around with no vitality, and just stacking damage and regen. So they would have to dodge some attacks, but lots of them they could just shrug off. Now its been changed so it will reduce it to 35% of max life, if 35% of that attacks damage isn't enough to one shot you, or something along those lines.

I'm sure it is dueable once you get the strat down and can dodge perfectly. I just don't feel it is worth it. Once my friends get up to 60 we are going to do the same thing we have done to Diablo on the other difficulties, stunlock him and beat on him until he dies.

Most things are immune to stun on Inferno. Even the common monsters. You might want to adjust the strat.

Did the easy exp glitch get fixed?

and yes i agree pubs = fail, sushi. but that's almost *always* the case. apparently they're pretty dangerous too. an acquaintance of mine got hacked already from some random on his friend's list. he even had authenticate and got hacked. don't know if bliz is going to provide more security or not but yeah...

Yeah my friend just got hacked, same story as everyone else, except his only pub game was first day.
