I get this staff as a (mean?) present and the support spell time was nice.
I know, the stuff was crap - but my crap.

Let me tell you the best way to buy a equip as a new player.

1. Choose an equip. Mark its name.

2. Search through the WTS (use forum search!), notice the relationship between price and stats/level. You should only read those threads within 3 months.

3. Find the one within your budget with the best possible stat/level.

Trust me; this is better than asking anyone here about equip's price.

I get more magic damage bonus (the 1st give me 120 more)
but less int and wis bony and the forbidden proficiency too

Almost. Magic damage bonus is one of the more important stat for staffs. The other one is EDB.
Check prof/INT/WIS only when the staffs are comparable and you need to choose one.

You could look up freebie shops to see if there are any equipment you want to have. Of course, they won't be much better than those being sold unless you're lucky. For me, I got an Exquisite Katalox Staff of Destruction as a freebie recently. I'm also in the same situation with cloth armor. Most of mine are pretty terrible and buying the good versions cost lots of credits (Heimdall and Fenrir sets).

I wear only plain white T-shirts, blue jeans and black socks
i have some logo shirts and suits but i love the easy think in the morning.
Drop out of the bed, stumble over the dog into the wardrobe and go to the bathroom with the t-shirt and some wooden slivers in the mouth.

And the most important reason for this: I HATE shopping
You must compare, invest time and the whole sh*t

Not hard to get credits unless you haven't played HV in a long time. Some shops will tell you the quality of the item anyway. Fenrir, Heimdall, and Mjolnir Phase equipment are the most expensive due to their rarity and usefulness against monsters (not many have resistance against them).
