I'm lucky if i get more then 1 HG a day now. I use to get upto 5 a day from my high PL monsters 10+400s & 3 more close to that

It's really just all luck. I've gotten 7/10 HG in one check pretty recently, and 4/10 yesterday, and 7 of my monsters are only PL 400, which is a measly 15% chance of being HG.

It just gets old when I check my 430's & 420's and they give me low grade while my 199's or 99's bring me bindings or mid grades.

I haven't done much for a while and still haven't done any CF in a long time but I've been moving more of my PL99's to 199 and a few 199's closer to 400. But I'd have to hit CF hard before I start to level up all the 400's

Given DIII is about here I really don't know how much time I'll spend in HV.

God I still need to login to bnet with all my old accounts and clean up all my old mules.

Basically you reduced your chances of getting crude by 10%. You don't raise LOTD beyond 10 and expect Exquisite drops to increase. That's not how it works.

Just saying about a million of your credits went to waste when they could have gone to something like **proficiency gain rate**

I wish we (by which I mean skillchip) had the formula for how equipment quality or whatever is determined so that we would know just how much of an effect LotD has on drop quality.

Basically, Tenb is laughing at our frustration at trying to crack his cruel little equation, which only he knows and probably wont tell

Reverse engineering takes OUR time.

Someone needs to bribe him with some pony goods. Just knowing how it affects drops won't actually impact the game since it's not exploitable. And you'll want to train it as high as possible anyways eventually.

I am pretty sure I have a good feel on how the quality bonus works for giving you a value. Quality bonus is what determines what type of item you get. The problem is I don't know how that quality bonus converts to quality boost, which is what affects equipment.

One of the way to transform quality bonus in quality boost is to use a skewed normal distribution, where the quality bonus is used to determine the amount of skewness
