For me a mix of Kevlar and Shade works best. Without Protection Kevlar I get too many one hit Kill special attack each round.
The extra evade from a full Fleet set can't make up for it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Strangely, I find bleed weapon (namely scythe) to be too powerful for anything below IWBTH. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) ... I guess it's probably due to the difference in level. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

I wonder why he does not want to change it. Some slight tweaks to the stats and HP boosts of monsters and let me create a Nyaruko and the game would be more fun again. Well or at least you don't get an arrow to the knee with each level up.

I keep hearing you guys complain that it gets harder and harder as you level up, but round count seems to be increasing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

In other news, I just had a dream where training cost went DOWN as I trained (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Woke up and found that no, assimilator training doubled in cost (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Yeah. There's better ways to combat credit inflation, too. Like reducing credit gain from HV rounds.

Shorter and more tactical rounds would also screw bots harder than actual players as
a) stamina depletes more rapidly
B) a bot won't focus fire on an immediate danger like a stunproof/pierceproof/heavy damaging mob
c) debuff spells would have to be used

The HP boost did so much more to make the game more bot-friendly than anything.

Except that it's not harder and harder. It simply takes longer and longer to do anything. I actually take much less damage than I did 70 levels ago, and I still had the same average quality of gear.

I suggested the change to primary attributes for this very reason. The damage increase from stats is negligible, especially when monsters have two factors that affect HP growth.

As it stands, 95% of current game-play is centered around one particular skill which is pretty ridiculous. There's really no more variety to the game, it's pretty much SS or nothing.

I think a percentage improvement for stats on gear in a fashion similar to EDB would work and scale better since your suggestion (increasing primary stat effects) would also take effect on monsters, pretty much negating the point of the increase in the first place.

That was only an example. The main point was to increase the effects from primary attributes, he can use any system he wants as long as it does what it's intended to do.
